  • Organizer: name, profile URL, verified badge, total attendees and events hosted

  • Full description as plain text
  • Categories & tags: event category and tags
  • Media: event image URL

Use with AI Agents (MCP)

Connect this actor to any MCP-compatible AI client — Claude Desktop, Claude.ai, Cursor, VS Code, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or custom agents.

Apify MCP server URL:

https://mcp.apify.com?tools=santamaria-automations/eventbrite-scraper

Example prompt once connected:

"Use eventbrite-scraper to scrape tech events in Berlin from Eventbrite. Return results as a table."

Clients that support dynamic tool discovery (Claude.ai, VS Code) will receive the full input schema automatically via add-actor.

How to use

Option 1: Search URLs

Paste any Eventbrite search URL directly:

{
"searchUrls": [
"https://www.eventbrite.com/d/germany/tech/",
"https://www.eventbrite.com/d/ca--san-francisco/conferences/"
],
"maxResults": 100
}

Option 2: Search query + location

{
"searchQuery": "tech",
"location": "germany",
"maxResults": 50
}

Location format

Eventbrite uses URL slugs for locations:

  • Countries: germany, united-states, france
  • Regions: united-states--new-york, germany--berlin
  • Cities: ca--san-francisco, united-kingdom--london
  • Online: online

The category part of a URL is a slug such as tech, music, conferences or all-events. The bare events slug has no listing data, so it is mapped to all-events automatically.

Input parameters

ParameterTypeDefaultDescription
searchUrlsstring[]-Eventbrite search page URLs
searchQuerystring-Search keyword
locationstringgermanyLocation slug for URL building
maxResultsinteger100Maximum events to scrape in total (1-5000). Since 1.2 the budget is shared across all searchUrls: each URL gets an even share and unused results roll over to the next URL.
includeDetailsbooleantrueFetch each event's detail page for price, currency and organizer. Turn off for a faster run

Extra fields

  • From the search page: language, published_at, series_id, urgency_signals (goingFast, fewTickets, salesEndSoon), venue_postal_code, venue_region.
  • From the event page (with includeDetails): subcategory, event_format, location_type, duration_minutes, age_restriction, door_time, parking, refund_policy, sales_start_date, organizer organizer_id / organizer_logo_url / organizer_description / organizer_hosting_since_years, the speaker lineup performers (name, tagline, role, bio, image, social links), faq and video_urls.
  • Organizer contact data (with includeDetails): organizer_email, organizer_phone, contact_emails and organizer_social_links. Eventbrite has no structured organizer email or phone field, so these come from addresses and links organizers type into their organizer profile text or event description. Events without a shown address return null / []; contact forms are not followed. Phone numbers are only taken when announced by a keyword (Tel, Phone, Mobile ...) or a tel: link.

Performance

  • 128 MB memory is enough (Go binary with TLS fingerprinting, peak about 25 MB)
  • ~20 events per search page
  • Fetches detail pages for price and organizer data (switch off with includeDetails: false)
  • Eventbrite serves at most 49 pages (about 1,000 events) per search, so split large pulls across several cities or categories
  • Empty input scrapes up to 10 events in Germany (demo run)
  • Built-in proxy handling, nothing to configure

attendee_count is always null: Eventbrite does not publish how many people registered for an event. sales_status, is_sold_out and the organizer totals are the closest honest signals. The new availability and organizer fields need includeDetails (default on).

Pricing

Pay per result: $0.003 per event extracted.

FAQ

Do I need a proxy or an Eventbrite login? No login. Proxy handling is built in, nothing to configure.

How many Eventbrite events can I get per run? Up to 5,000 per run via maxResults. Eventbrite serves at most 49 pages (about 1,000 events) per search, so split large pulls across several cities or categories.

How fresh is the data? Each run reads the live Eventbrite pages, so results reflect what Eventbrite shows at run time. scraped_at records the time.

Why is attendee_count null? Eventbrite does not publish registration counts. Use sales_status and is_sold_out instead.

Can I get events from one city or category? Yes. Use a location slug such as germany--berlin with a searchQuery such as tech, or paste an Eventbrite search URL.
