Yappy Scraper — Videos, Creators & Comments
Yappy is a Russian short-video app (the format is TikTok's). This Actor reads it: the public feed and trending stream, individual videos with their view, like, comment, share and favourite counts, the comments themselves, and creator profiles with their latest videos.
No key, no login. The cheap datacenter proxy is enough.
One clean JSON call per page
Yappy's own web API returns everything as JSON — no HTML to scrape and no per-video second request for the counts. A feed page carries the full video record: 36 fields including views, likes, comments, shares, favourites, the creator, the audio track and the direct video link.

Comments come with the text, author, like count, creation date, and whether the video's author liked them. Profiles carry nickname, name, bio, avatar and background.
Notes & limits
Properties of the source, measured rather than assumed:
- The feed serves a few videos per page and signals more with a boolean flag rather than a cursor,
so it is paged by number until your limit or an empty page — not by a
nextlink. - Comments page by number; the listing ends when the page comes back empty.
- A creator's video listing returns the latest videos in a single page and ignores paging — page, cursor and offset parameters all return the same first page. So Creators mode reads the latest videos for a profile, not its entire back catalogue. Deeper history is not offered rather than faked.
- Ids are 32-character hex. A link or a bare id is accepted for videos and creators; the id is taken from wherever it appears in the input.
- The public feed has no fixed order between runs — it is the app's stream, so two runs return overlapping but not identical sets. Within a run, videos are de-duplicated by id.
- The Actor honours your Maximum cost per run and stops when the cap is reached.
