Narrow Apify Actor for public npm registry metadata and download statistics. It targets a fixed allowlist of popular developer packages and emits package intelligence records suitable for monitoring, comparison, and trend analysis.
Target scope
This Actor is not a universal npm or website scraper. Public callers can select only configured package IDs and download periods. It does not accept arbitrary package names, URLs, auth headers, cookies, proxy settings, npm tokens, or custom network code.
Maintainer email addresses from npm registry metadata are intentionally not included in dataset output.
Security
This Actor follows the shared workspace security policy in ../../SECURITY.md.
Runtime validation rejects unknown and dangerous JSON keys. The package event
is charged only for package records successfully written to the dataset.
