What it does

The actor queries Coto Digital's public product catalog for each keyword or category you pass, paginates through the matches, and writes one normalized record per product to the run's dataset. Prices are parsed to numbers in ARS, the price per format unit is computed, discounts and promotions are captured, and the full category breadcrumb is joined into a single path. Missing source values are returned as null, never invented.

Data covers grocery products sold on Coto (Argentina). Two optional AI add-ons (withDescription, withAttributes) can enrich each record with a clean/English name and structured attributes; they are opt-in, billed only when they produce output, and disabled on free Apify plans.

• No charge on failure. If a run errors, the actor writes a single item with a populated error field and does not charge for it. Empty runs cost nothing.
• Spend cap respected. Set maxTotalChargeUsd on the run; once reached, the actor stops emitting and charging further billable results.
• Free Apify plans are capped at 10 records per run. Upgrade for higher maxProducts.

FAQ and troubleshooting

A run returned 0 records. Why? The keyword matched nothing, or the category ID was wrong. Confirm the keyword returns products on coto.com.ar, or copy a groupId from a keyword result to use as a category. Zero-result runs are not charged.

How fresh are the prices? Prices, discounts and stock are read live at run time, so each record reflects the store at the moment of the run (see observedAt).

Can I scrape a whole category, not just a keyword? Yes. Add a category ID to categories to list every product in that category. Find category IDs in the categoryPath/groupId of any keyword result.

Do I get the discounted price and the promotion? Yes. When an item is on sale you get discountedPrice, discountPercent, the discount label, saleType and any discountConditions, alongside the regular listPrice.

Is the barcode included? Yes. Each product includes its ean barcode plus sku/skuId so you can match items across stores and datasets.

Do the AI add-ons work on a free plan? No. The AI add-ons require a paid Apify plan and are disabled automatically for free users. The base product fields are always returned.
