What it does

The actor queries Sky Airline's live fare availability for a route and date range, reads every scheduled flight for each day, and writes one normalized record per fare to the run's dataset. Sky sells several fare brands on each flight (Basic, Light, Standard, Max, Max Flex, Full); by default each brand becomes its own row so you see the full price ladder, with fareType and cabin telling them apart. Prices come back in the currency of the point of sale (CLP for the Chile market), split into baseFare and taxes, along with real departure and arrival times, duration, aircraft type, stops, and seats left.

Set collapseFares to get one row per flight with every fare nested in fareOptions. Set includeReturn to also scan the return leg over a separate date range, tagged direction: "inbound". Every flight of the day is returned, not only the cheapest.

This actor is independent and is not an official Sky Airline tool. It reads only data that is publicly available through Sky Airline's own retail booking site.

Quickstart

Open the actor, paste this into the input, and press Run. It returns every fare of every Sky Airline flight from Santiago (SCL) to Antofagasta (ANF) on one day.

{
"origin": "SCL",
"destination": "ANF",
"departureDateFrom": "2026-09-15",
"adults": 1,
"maxFlights": 50
}

Add departureDateTo to scan a range of days. Set includeReturn to true with returnDateFrom to pull the return leg in the same run. Leave the dates empty and the actor defaults to a date about 30 days out.

Run via API and CLI

Start a run and wait for it to finish, then read the dataset. Replace <TOKEN> with your Apify API token.

Run synchronously and get dataset items in one call:

curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/scrapers_lat~skyairline-flights-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<TOKEN>" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"origin":"SCL","destination":"ANF","departureDateFrom":"2026-09-15","departureDateTo":"2026-09-17","maxFlights":100}'

Start a run asynchronously:

curl -X POST "https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/scrapers_lat~skyairline-flights-scraper/runs?token=<TOKEN>" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"origin":"SCL","destination":"IQQ","includeReturn":true,"returnDateFrom":"2026-09-22"}'

Apify CLI:

apify call scrapers_lat/skyairline-flights-scraper \
--input '{"origin":"SCL","destination":"ANF","collapseFares":true}'

Fetch results

Every run writes to a dataset. Fetch items as JSON, CSV, or Excel by changing format:

# JSON
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/<DATASET_ID>/items?token=<TOKEN>&clean=true&format=json"
# CSV
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/<DATASET_ID>/items?token=<TOKEN>&clean=true&format=csv"
# Paginate large datasets
curl "https://api.apify.com/v2/datasets/<DATASET_ID>/items?token=<TOKEN>&offset=1000&limit=1000"

<DATASET_ID> is returned as defaultDatasetId in the run object. Use offset and limit to page through large result sets. clean=true drops empty and internal fields.

Billing and limits

  • Pay per result. You are charged per record returned (result event). See the pricing tab for the current per-result price.
  • No charge on failure. If a day errors, the actor writes a single item with a populated error field and does not charge for it. Empty runs cost nothing.
  • Spend cap respected. Set maxTotalChargeUsd on the run; once reached, the actor stops emitting and charging further billable results.
  • Free Apify plans are capped at 10 records per run. Upgrade for a higher maxFlights.
  • Date range ceiling. Each leg scans up to 60 days per run. For longer windows, split the work across runs.

FAQ and troubleshooting

A run returned 0 records. Why? Sky may not operate that route on the requested day, or all flights were sold out. Try a different date or a route Sky flies. Zero-result runs are not charged.

Why are there several rows for the same flight? By default each fare brand is its own row so you can compare the full price ladder (Basic, Light, Standard, Max, Max Flex, Full). Set collapseFares to true for one row per flight with the fares nested in fareOptions.

How do I get the return leg? Set includeReturn to true and provide returnDateFrom (and optionally returnDateTo). Return flights come back tagged direction: "inbound".

What currency are prices in? The currency of the point of sale set by homemarket. CL returns Chilean pesos (CLP). Prices are split into baseFare and taxes, and price is the total.

Does it return a seat map? No. Sky's seat map requires a committed booking session and is not exposed on the public availability step, so this actor does not attempt it.

Is this an official Sky Airline tool? No. This actor is independent and has no affiliation with Sky Airline. It reads only data that is publicly available through Sky Airline's retail booking site.
