🚗 Cars.com Dealer Leads Scraper — Phone, Website & Ratings
Turn any US ZIP into a clean list of car dealers from Cars.com — dealership name, full address, phone, website, star rating + review count, live inventory size, the brands they carry, and their price range. One row per dealer (deduped), not one row per car. No login, no API key.
🕒 Last updated: 2026-07-12 · 🏢 One row per dealer · 🇺🇸 Any US metro by ZIP · ⭐ Rating + review count · 📦 Inventory size + brands + price range · 🚫 No login or API key · 🔌 Straight from Cars.com's own page data
Most Cars.com scrapers hand you a wall of individual car listings and leave you to figure out who's actually selling them. This one flips it around and gives you the dealer. Point it at a ZIP, and it walks Cars.com's dealer directory (nearest metro first), then opens each dealer's own Cars.com profile + inventory pages to pull the details that make a real B2B lead: the website, the direct phone, the star rating and review count, how many cars they have live, and which brands + price band they play in. The result is a ready-to-use dealer prospect list for automotive SaaS, DMS/CRM, financing, insurance, marketing, and wholesale outreach.
What it does
- 🏢 One clean row per dealer — deduped by Cars.com dealer id, so a 400-car franchise becomes a single lead, not 400 near-duplicates.
- 🌐 The fields others skip — the dealer's own
website, directphone,rating,reviewCount, and preciselat/lngpulled from the dealer's Cars.com profile. - 📦 Business context on every dealer —
inventoryCount(how many cars they have live),brands[]they carry, andpriceMin/priceMaxso you can segment by size and price tier. - 🚘 Sample inventory — a
sampleListings[]snapshot (year / model / price / stock type / URL) for each dealer. - 📍 Target any US metro — center on a ZIP and get dealers sorted by distance from it.
- 🇺🇸 Built for the anti-bot — runs on Apify US residential proxies with a session warm-up, request pacing, and automatic IP rotation, so pages come back populated, not challenged.
📊 Output — dealer + contact + ratings + inventory in one flat record
Every dealer comes back as a flat JSON record. The fields that matter:

💡
website, preciserating/reviewCount,brands, andpriceMin/priceMaxcome from the dealer's own Cars.com profile + inventory pages. Turn enrich off to skip those per-dealer pages for a faster, cheaper pull (name, address, phone, rating & inventory count from the directory only).

❓ FAQ
What contact details do I actually get? Per dealer: company name, the phone shown on Cars.com, the dealer's own website, the full address (street, city, state, ZIP), geo-coordinates, star rating + review count, live inventory count, brands carried, price range, and sample listings.
Why is it one row per dealer instead of per car? Because you're prospecting dealers, not cars. Cars.com's dealer directory is already one entry per dealer; the Actor aggregates each dealer's inventory (count, brands, price range, sample listings) onto a single lead.
How do I target a location? Enter a US ZIP. Cars.com returns dealers sorted by distance from that ZIP (nearest metro first). Leave it blank to use the proxy's own location.
Do I get email addresses? No — Cars.com doesn't publish dealer emails. You get the dealer's website and phone, which is what its profile exposes. (For dealer emails, pair this with an email-finder on the returned website domains.)
Do I need a login or API key? No. It reads Cars.com's public dealer directory and profile pages — no account, no key.
Why residential proxies? Cars.com is US-only and fronts Cloudflare. The Actor defaults to Apify US residential with a session warm-up, request pacing, and IP rotation so pages return populated data.
Can I export to Excel or Google Sheets? Yes — the dataset exports to JSON, CSV, Excel, or Google Sheets, or via API.
How much does it cost? Pay-per-result — you only pay for the dealers returned. It's free to try.
Notes & fair use
You are responsible for complying with Cars.com's Terms of Service and all applicable laws, including anti-spam and telemarketing rules (CAN-SPAM / TCPA) when you contact dealers. This Actor reads publicly available business-directory data (the same dealer contact Cars.com shows on each dealer page). Use the contact data responsibly and respect opt-outs.
