MenuPix Restaurant Scraper

Turn MenuPix city directories into a structured, ready-to-work US-restaurant lead list — name, phone, the operator's own website, full address, cuisine, price tier and rating, one row per restaurant.

What you get

Each record is one restaurant:

• name — restaurant name
• phone — as published on MenuPix
• website — the restaurant's OWN domain (not a MenuPix or delivery-platform link) — the field Google-Maps scrapers surface inconsistently and delivery scrapers never expose; the hook for email-enrichment and tech-stack detection
• streetAddress · city · state · postalCode · fullAddress — full mailing address
• cuisine — array of cuisine/diet tags (e.g. ["Japanese", "Sushi", "Gluten-Free"])
• priceRange — price tier ($–$$$$) for segmentation
• rating · reviewCount — MenuPix aggregate rating
• hoursToday — today's hours when listed
• sourceCity · menupixId · menupixUrl — provenance

Use cases

• POS / online-ordering prospecting (Toast, Square, SpotOn, ChowNow, Slice, Olo) — target operators by metro with a direct phone + own website.
• Cuisine / price-segmented outreach — filter to, say, $$$$ Japanese or $ cafes.
• Market sizing by metro — count and profile the restaurant base of any of MenuPix's 300+ US metros.
• Reputation / marketing-agency lists — rating + reviewCount to prioritize accounts.

Input

Field	Description
cities	MenuPix metro slugs (e.g. austin, nyc, boston). Leave empty to crawl all metros from browsemetro.php.
maxRestaurants	Stop after this many records (0 = no limit).
onlyWithContact	Skip listings with neither a phone nor a website (default true).
proxyConfiguration	Apify Residential (US) recommended for reliability against Cloudflare.

• No email is provided. MenuPix does not expose emails; enrich downstream from the website field.
• Coverage is whatever MenuPix lists for a given metro — it is a broad but not exhaustive census of every restaurant.
