Electronics Scraper for Newegg - Prices, Specs, Reviews & Seller Leads

Disclaimer: This Actor is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Newegg Inc. or any of its subsidiaries. All trademarks mentioned are the property of their respective owners. "Newegg" is referenced only to describe the publicly available website this Actor collects data from.

Extract complete Newegg product data, including the fields other scrapers leave empty: live price, was-price and discount, stock, the 30-day lowest price, UPC/GTIN, MPN and model, the full specifications table, every seller offering the product with their prices, ratings with the star breakdown, buyer reviews and marketplace seller leads with business contact details. Search by keyword, read any category, store or deals page, or paste product URLs and item numbers across Newegg.com (US) and Newegg.ca (Canada). Turn on monitor mode to receive only price drops, restocks and new listings.

No login, no cookies, no browser: fast extraction from the data Newegg's own pages are built from, with a full record for every product.

Why this Newegg scraper?

This Actor reads the product data Newegg ships inside its own pages, so even a fast discovery run (product details off) returns a full product card, and the product-detail option (on by default) adds everything a catalog, repricer or market study needs:

DataProduct card (details off)Product detail (default)

The was-price, discount and 30-day lowest price appear when Newegg shows them for the listing.

Use cases

  • Price tracking and repricing - follow GPU, CPU, SSD, laptop and component prices, the 30-day low and discount depth, and every competing seller's price for the same product; schedule runs with monitor mode for price-drop and restock alerts.
  • Dropshipping and arbitrage - pull live price, stock, specs, images and the full seller list for product research and catalog building.
  • Market and competitive intelligence - track ratings, review counts, best-seller rank and assortment by keyword, category, brand or seller.
  • Lead generation - build a list of third-party Newegg Marketplace sellers with their legal business name, business address, phone, ratings, followers and a 0 to 100 lead score.
  • Product enrichment - resolve item numbers to UPC, MPN, model and the full specifications table for your own catalog or PIM.

How to use

  1. Sign up for Apify - the free plan is enough to try this Actor.
  2. Open Electronics Scraper for Newegg, enter search keywords (or paste Newegg URLs or item numbers), pick the site (US or Canada) and click Start.
  3. Watch results stream into the dataset table.
  4. Export as JSON, CSV, Excel, XML or RSS, or pull results through the Apify API.

Input

{
"searchTerms": ["rtx 4070", "nvme ssd 2tb"],
"site": "us",
"sort": "default",
"maxProducts": 200,
"includeProductDetails": true,
"includeReviews": true,
"includeSellerLeads": true,
"monitorMode": false
}
  • searchTerms - keywords to search Newegg for. Each keyword is its own product feed (96 products per page). When Newegg sends a keyword to a category page instead of a result list (for example "mechanical keyboard"), the Actor reads that keyword's results inside the category.
  • startUrls - Newegg URLs: product pages (including a marketplace offer's ?Item= link), search, category, subcategory, brand-store, seller-store and deals pages. You can also link or upload a text file of URLs.
  • urlsFromFile - paste a list of URLs, or one link to a .txt / .csv file or a Google Sheet.
  • itemNumbers - Newegg item numbers such as N82E16814126761, marketplace offers such as 9SIB3T1KEH4255, or combos such as 3D5-002D-000E7.
  • site - us = Newegg.com (USD) or ca = Newegg.ca (CAD). Start URLs override this by their domain.
  • sort - default, priceAsc, priceDesc, bestRating, bestSelling or mostReviews.
  • minPrice / maxPrice / fourStarPlus / inStockOnly - filters, each checked on the value the delivered row carries.
  • includeSponsored (default false) - also return the sponsored ad slots Newegg places on the first results page, each marked isSponsored: true with its ad position.
  • includeProductDetails (default true) - open each product page to add UPC/GTIN, MPN, the full specifications table, description, FAQ, stock quantity, every seller's offer, manufacturer warranty, return policy and the star breakdown.
  • includeReviews (default false), maxReviewsPerProduct, reviewSort - buyer reviews as separate review records, most helpful or newest first. Newegg shows one shared review list for variants of the same product; each review is delivered once per run, on the first variant in your results, and reviewedItemNumber names the variant the buyer actually reviewed.
  • includeSellerLeads (default false) - one deduplicated sellerLead record per third-party Marketplace seller seen in the run, enriched from the seller's public store page.
  • monitorMode / monitorKey (default false) - remember products across runs and emit only new, price-changed, restocked or sold-out items (each carries a changeType and the previousPrice). Each run checks the first maxProducts results of every search; unchanged products cost nothing. Complements Apify Schedules.
  • maxProducts / maxPagesPerSearch / maxConcurrency / proxyConfiguration - run controls.

Which fields are always filled

  • Every product row: item number, title, product name, link, brand, model, price, currency, stock flag, availability, condition, category, seller, ship-from country, weight, dimensions, warranty name, images and the review count.
  • With product details on: also the specifications table, description, breadcrumb, stock quantity, FAQ (when the page has questions) and the seller offers.
  • Only when Newegg shows them: the was-price and discount (discounted items only), the 30-day lowest price, promotions, instant and mail-in rebates, MAP price, best-seller rank, per-order limits, launch date, the average rating (products with ratings), UPC/GTIN and MPN (missing on some marketplace listings) and the manufacturer warranty.
  • Seller leads: store name, rating and review count come with the seller's listings. The positive rating, followers, 12-month figures and the business details (legal name, address, phone) come from the seller's public store page; a lead whose store page is not read before the run's time limit ships without them, and the run's status message says how many. Newegg no longer publishes lifetime order counts, so lifetimeOrderCount is empty.

Each dataset view (Products, Reviews, Seller leads) shows only its own record type's columns. Seller leads are written after the products and reviews, so in the Console's Seller leads view they can start on a later page; the run's status message names the page. Through the API, read a single view with clean=true (for example ?view=sellerLeads&clean=true) to get only that view's rows.

How much does it cost to scrape Newegg?

This Actor uses Apify's pay-per-event pricing: you are charged only for the results it delivers, with no monthly rental and no start fee. The events it can charge are:

  • Product - One Newegg product from a keyword or category search card: item number, title, brand, card price, was-price and discount, shipping, rating, review count and image.
  • Product detail - One fully enriched Newegg product: live price and stock, 30-day lowest price, discount, full specifications table, description, all images, MPN, UPC and model, the seller and other sellers' offers, warranty, promotions and volume discounts.
  • Review - One Newegg buyer review: star rating, title, reviewer, date, pros, cons, review text, helpful votes and the verified-owner flag.
  • Seller lead - One deduplicated Newegg Marketplace seller lead: store name, rating, review count, positive rating, followers, top-rated flag, products seen, categories, a 0 to 100 lead score, and the business name, address and phone the seller publishes.

The current price of each event is shown on the Pricing tab of this page. Set a maximum total charge on the run if you want a hard cap on spend, and use the input limits to control how much the Actor fetches.

Automate & schedule

Run this Actor on autopilot and pull results into your own stack:

  • Apify API - start runs, fetch datasets, and manage schedules over REST.
  • apify-client for JavaScript and apify-client for Python - official SDKs.
  • Schedules - run it hourly or daily to watch a keyword, category or item list; pair with monitor mode for price-drop and restock alerts.
  • Webhooks - trigger downstream actions (CRM import, Slack alert, repricing job) the moment a run finishes.
import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: 'MY_APIFY_TOKEN' });
const run = await client.actor('scrapesage/newegg-scraper').call({
searchTerms: ['rtx 4070'],
site: 'us',
maxProducts: 200,
includeProductDetails: true,
monitorMode: true,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();
console.log(`Got ${items.length} Newegg records`);

When you read one view over the API (/items?view=sellerLeads), add clean=true so rows of the other record types are left out.

Integrate with any app

Connect the dataset to 5,000+ apps - no code required:

  • Make - multi-step automation scenarios.
  • Zapier - push price drops straight into Sheets, Slack or your repricer.
  • Slack - get notified when a monitored product drops in price or restocks.
  • Google Drive / Sheets - auto-export every run to a spreadsheet.
  • Airbyte - pipe results into your data warehouse.
  • GitHub - trigger runs from commits or releases.

Use with AI assistants (MCP)

The output is clean, LLM-ready JSON. Call this Actor from Claude, ChatGPT or any agent framework through the Apify MCP server - ask your assistant to "track the cheapest RTX 4070 on Newegg and alert me on a price drop" and let it run this scraper for you.

Agent-ready: autonomous payments (x402 & Skyfire)

This actor is agent-ready: AI agents can discover it, run it, and pay for it autonomously, with no Apify account and no human in the loop. It uses pay-per-event pricing and limited permissions, so it qualifies for Apify's agentic-payment standards:

  • x402: an open, HTTP-native payment protocol. Agents pay per run in USDC on the Base network directly through the Apify MCP server, with no account and no API key.
  • Skyfire: agent-to-service payments for fully autonomous AI-agent workflows.

Building an AI agent, MCP tool, or autonomous data pipeline? This scraper is ready to plug in and pay as it goes.

More scrapers from scrapesage

Build a complete e-commerce & pricing stack across every major marketplace:

  • eBay Scraper - listings with price, condition, shipping, seller and item specs, plus seller leads, on 10 marketplaces.
  • AliExpress Scraper - products, SKUs, orders sold, reviews & store leads.
  • Alibaba Scraper - B2B wholesale: FOB ladder prices, MOQ & supplier leads.
  • Banggood Scraper - cross-border products, variants, specs & reviews.
  • Flipkart Scraper - Indian e-commerce: prices, MRP and discount, specs, reviews & seller leads.
  • Zalando Scraper - European fashion: prices, discounts, sizes & stock across 15 EU markets.
  • Reverb Scraper - musical-instrument marketplace, Price Guide & seller leads.
  • Shopify Store Scraper - products, prices & inventory from any Shopify storefront.

Tips

  • Discovery vs full detail: with includeProductDetails off, every row still carries price, was-price, stock, rating, seller, ship-from, model, key specs and images, at the lower "Product scraped" price. Turn it on for UPC/MPN, the full specifications table, description, stock quantity and every seller's offer.
  • Price sorts: Newegg's price sorts rank the whole result set by price, so the cheapest matches of a broad keyword are often accessories. Add minPrice, or paste a category URL, for clean price-sorted lists.
  • Recurring monitoring: combine Schedules with monitorMode and a stable monitorKey to receive only price drops, restocks and new listings.
  • Marketplace offers: a marketplace item number (9SI...) or its ?Item= link returns that seller's own offer, price and stock, not Newegg's.
  • Proxies: keep the default proxy. If Newegg starts challenging datacenter addresses, the run continues on residential sessions by itself. Keep maxConcurrency at 3 to 5.

FAQ

Can I scrape Newegg by category instead of keyword? Yes. Paste any Newegg category, subcategory, brand-store, seller-store or deals URL into startUrls; they all page automatically where Newegg pages them.

Does it get the real, current price? Yes. Prices, stock and the 30-day low come from the same live product data Newegg's own pages are built from, so they match what a shopper sees at that moment.

Can I scrape Newegg Canada? Yes. Set site to ca (or paste Newegg.ca URLs). Prices are returned in CAD.

How do I monitor price drops automatically? Turn on monitorMode, give it a monitorKey, and create a Schedule. Each run emits only products that are new or whose price or stock changed, each tagged with a changeType (price_drop, price_rise, restocked, out_of_stock, new) and the previousPrice.

Where do seller leads come from? Newegg is largely a first-party retailer, so many items are "Sold & Shipped by Newegg". Every third-party Newegg Marketplace seller selling a product in your results (and, with details on, every seller offering it on the product page) becomes one lead, enriched from the seller's public Newegg store page: legal business name, business address, phone, ratings, positive feedback and followers.

Are sponsored products included? Not by default. Newegg's sponsored ad slots are not part of the search results; turn on includeSponsored to receive them marked as ads.

Can I export to Google Sheets, CSV or Excel? Yes - one click in the dataset view, or automatically on every run via the Google Drive integration.

Is scraping Newegg legal? This Actor collects publicly available data only. You are responsible for using the data in compliance with applicable laws and Newegg's terms. See Data & lawful use and the Disclaimer below.

A field is null - why? Some products genuinely don't publish a discount, a rating or a third-party seller. See "Which fields are always filled" above: fields are null only when Newegg doesn't show the data.

Data & lawful use

This Actor reads public product listings and, when you turn on seller leads, the business details each Newegg Marketplace seller publishes on its public store page (store name, legal business name, business address, phone and ratings). Some sellers are sole traders, so a business name, address or phone number can relate to an identifiable person and should be treated as personal data. Buyer reviews carry the reviewer's display name. If you are in the EU or UK you are the data controller for what you do with this data: have a lawful basis (usually legitimate interest for B2B prospecting, market research or price monitoring), keep any outreach relevant to the seller's business, honour opt-outs and deletion requests, and do not use the output for spam.

Under Apify's Standard Actor Contract, which governs your use of this Actor, you are the controller of any personal data in your input and output and scrapesage acts only as your processor: that data is processed solely to run your job, written only to your own Apify storage, never used for any other purpose and never shared onward. If you need help with a data-subject request that involves this Actor's output, open an issue on the Issues tab.
