GitHub Repository Intelligence — $0.25 per 1,000 repositories
Search GitHub or inspect exact repositories and export decision-ready project metadata through GitHub's official REST API. Use it for open-source discovery, developer marketing, ecosystem maps, dependency research, competitive tracking, lead enrichment, or AI-agent tools.
What you get
- Repository name, URL, description, owner, visibility, and archive/fork status
- Stars, forks, watchers, open issues, size, primary language, topics, and license
- Creation, update, and last-push timestamps
- Latest published release and version when available
- Queries that matched each deduplicated repository
- API coverage and remaining rate-limit information in the run's
SUMMARYrecord
Example input
{"repositories": ["apify/apify-sdk-js"],"queries": ["topic:agents language:python stars:>500"],"maxResultsPerQuery": 20,"sort": "stars","order": "desc","includeLatestRelease": true,"includeTopics": true}
Optional GitHub token
Unauthenticated runs use GitHub's lower public rate limit. Add a fine-grained githubToken for regular or larger workloads. The secret is marked sensitive in the input schema and is sent only to api.github.com; the Actor never saves it to the dataset.
Pricing
The introductory price is $0.00025 per unique delivered repository ($0.25 per 1,000), plus a $0.00005 start event. Apify platform usage is included. Failed requests and duplicates produce no repository charge.
GitHub controls API quotas and returned fields. Follow GitHub's terms and the licenses and privacy expectations that apply to downstream use.
