LinkedIn Company Search Scraper & B2B Lead Finder
Find companies by market, product, industry, or business keyword and turn the results into a clean B2B lead list. Narrow each search with LinkedIn location and industry filters, remove duplicates automatically, and optionally enrich every company with detailed public profile data.
No LinkedIn login, cookies, or account session is required. Export the dataset to Excel, CSV, JSON, Google Sheets, or your CRM.
Why use this Actor?
Most LinkedIn company scrapers require you to already know the exact company URLs. This Actor starts earlier in the prospecting workflow: it discovers companies from a search, applies geographic and industry targeting, and can then enrich the companies it finds.
- Discover companies when you only know the market you want to target.
- Combine multiple search terms in one run.
- Filter at search time by country/location and LinkedIn industry.
- Get a lower-cost discovery dataset or enable full company enrichment.
- Deduplicate companies across pages and search terms.
- Export CRM-ready rows instead of manually reviewing search pages.
Two output modes
Choose the level of data that matches your workflow and budget.
| Mode | Best for | Typical fields | Billing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Search results | Market discovery, company lists, segmentation, and URL collection | Company name, LinkedIn URL, logo, industry, location, company ID, source query, page, and rank | One result event per dataset row |
| Enriched company profiles | Account research, CRM enrichment, lead qualification, and sales intelligence | All search fields plus website, description, follower and employee counts, specialties, headquarters, offices, founding data, jobs URL, and other available public metadata | Result event plus one enrichment event for each successfully enriched company |
If enrichment is requested but a company cannot be enriched, the Actor preserves its search result when strict post-validation is disabled. Failed enrichments do not generate a company-enrichment charge. Strict filters can exclude an unresolved record because its headquarters or employee size could not be confirmed.
Location and industry filters
The filters are a core part of the Actor: they help you search for the right companies before spending time reviewing or enriching them.
Location filter
Use Countries / LinkedIn locations to select one or more countries by name. The input form includes a searchable list, so you do not need to know LinkedIn's numeric IDs.
Examples:
| Visible selection | ID sent by the Actor |
|---|---|
| United States | 103644278 |
| United Kingdom | 101165590 |
| Ecuador | 106373116 |
| Germany | 101282230 |
Advanced users can also enter a numeric LinkedIn location ID for a city or region.
Industry filter
Use LinkedIn industries to select one or more industries from the searchable list.
Examples:
| Visible selection | ID sent by the Actor |
|---|---|
| Software Development | 4 |
| Banking | 41 |
| Financial Services | 43 |
| Retail | 27 |
The Actor sends the selected locations and industries with every company search. Search filters improve relevance, but LinkedIn may still return companies with a different headquarters. Enable enrichment and strict post-validation when country precision is more important than broad discovery coverage.
Post-enrichment qualification
The Actor can verify the search results after enrichment instead of trusting the search filter alone:
- Minimum employee count and Maximum employee count evaluate both the exact count and LinkedIn's company-size range.
- Only publish confirmed country matches verifies the enriched headquarters against the countries selected above.
- Only publish confirmed employee-size matches excludes missing, out-of-range, or contradictory employee data.
qualificationStatusexplains whether each published record ismatched,not_matched,unknown,conflicting, ornot_evaluated.
The exact employee count and reported range are intentionally preserved as separate fields. When both exist but disagree, employeeDataConsistent is false and the record is classified as conflicting. Strict employee filtering excludes it instead of silently choosing one value.
Strict validation requires Enrich company profiles. A successful enrichment is charged even when post-validation later excludes the company, because the detailed profile must first be retrieved to verify it.
Targeting example
To find software companies serving online stores in the United States:
{"searchTerms": ["ecommerce analytics","retail intelligence"],"locationIds": ["103644278"],"industryIds": ["4"],"resultsPerSearch": 100,"enrichCompanyDetails": true}
This configuration searches both keywords, applies the United States and Software Development filters, deduplicates overlapping companies, and enriches the resulting profiles.
To reproduce a stricter Colombia account-discovery workflow for companies with approximately 200 to 5,000 employees:
{"searchTerms": ["industrial","logistics","distribution","energy","manufacturing"],"locationIds": ["100876405"],"resultsPerSearch": 60,"enrichCompanyDetails": true,"minimumEmployeeCount": 200,"maximumEmployeeCount": 5000,"strictLocationFiltering": true,"strictEmployeeFiltering": true}
Quick start
- Add one or more Company search terms.
- Select countries or LinkedIn locations when geographic targeting matters.
- Select industries when you need a more specific company segment.
- Choose the maximum number of companies for each search term.
- Enable Enrich company profiles only when you need the extended fields.
- Click Start and export the default dataset.

Output without enrichment
With enrichCompanyDetails set to false, the Actor produces a fast company discovery dataset. The following is a representative record:
{"companyName": "Example Analytics","linkedinUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/example-analytics/","website": null,"logoUrl": "https://media.licdn.com/company-logo.png","industry": "Software Development","location": "United States","headline": "Analytics for modern commerce teams","tagline": "Analytics for modern commerce teams","universalName": "example-analytics","description": null,"employeeCount": null,"followerCount": null,"companyId": "12345678","sourceQuery": "ecommerce analytics","sourcePage": 1,"resultRank": 1,"icpScore": null,"icpScoreReasons": []}
Search responses may already include some optional fields. Fields unavailable at discovery time remain null.
Output with enrichment
With enrichCompanyDetails set to true, the Actor requests the detailed public profile for each discovered company. A representative enriched record looks like this:
{"companyName": "Example Analytics","universalName": "example-analytics","linkedinUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/company/example-analytics/","website": "https://example.com","logoUrl": "https://media.licdn.com/company-logo.png","coverUrl": "https://media.licdn.com/company-cover.png","industry": "Software Development","industries": ["Software Development"],"location": "Austin, Texas, United States","headline": "Analytics for modern commerce teams","tagline": "Analytics for modern commerce teams","description": "Commerce analytics software for brands and retailers.","employeeCount": 84,"employeeCountRange": {"start": 51,"end": 200},"employeeRangeMinimum": 51,"employeeRangeMaximum": 200,"employeeCountMatch": null,"employeeRangeMatch": null,"employeeSizeMatch": null,"employeeDataConsistent": true,"locationMatch": true,"locationMatchSource": "headquarters","qualificationStatus": "matched","qualificationReasons": ["Headquarters matches a selected country"],"followerCount": 12450,"companyId": "12345678","foundedYear": 2018,"specialties": ["Ecommerce analytics","Retail intelligence","Business intelligence"],"headquarters": {"city": "Austin","state": "Texas","country": "United States"},"locations": [],"isVerified": true,"jobSearchUrl": "https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/example-analytics-jobs/","sourceQuery": "ecommerce analytics","sourcePage": 1,"resultRank": 1,"icpScore": null,"icpScoreReasons": []}
Enriched fields can include:
- Website, description, tagline, logo, and cover image.
- LinkedIn company ID and universal name.
- Industry, specialties, founding year, and page type.
- Employee count, employee range, student count, and follower count.
- Normalized range boundaries, country match, employee-size match, consistency checks, and qualification reasons.
- Headquarters, office locations, and geographic coordinates.
- Verification status, phone, jobs URL, Sales Navigator URL, and Crunchbase URL.
- Hashtags, similar companies, affiliated companies, funding, and corporate relationships when available.
Field availability depends on what is publicly available for each company. Missing values remain null or empty arrays.
Results, limits, and deduplication
The provider returns up to 50 raw companies per page. The current input allows up to 750 requested companies for each search term.
resultsPerSearch is a maximum, not a guaranteed final row count. The Actor removes duplicate and invalid records, so the number of unique companies can be lower. Add multiple relevant search terms to broaden the market while the Actor deduplicates overlapping results.
Completed search pages are written progressively when enrichment is disabled. Enriched results are written in batches of 10. If a later request fails, previously published rows remain available in the dataset.

Pricing behavior
- Every company written to the default dataset is billed as a result.
- Enrichment is optional and controlled by
enrichCompanyDetails. - A
company-enrichmentevent is charged after a company is successfully enriched. This also applies when strict post-validation later excludes that company from the dataset. - Failed enrichment requests are not charged as enrichment events.
- Apify displays the estimated maximum run price before execution and lets the customer set a spending limit.
Use cases
- Build targeted B2B prospect and account lists.
- Discover companies in a specific country and industry.
- Create territory-specific lead lists for sales teams.
- Research competitors and emerging market segments.
- Prepare account-based marketing audiences.
- Find potential partners, distributors, suppliers, or acquisition targets.
- Enrich HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Sheets, and internal databases.
- Feed structured company data into AI agents, scoring models, or research workflows.
FAQ
Do I need a LinkedIn account or cookies?
No. The Actor does not ask for LinkedIn credentials, session cookies, or browser extensions.
Should I enable enrichment for every run?
Not necessarily. Start with search-only mode when exploring a market. Enable enrichment when the resulting companies are relevant and you need deeper firmographic data.
Can I search more than one country or industry?
Yes. Select multiple values in the input form. You can also run separate searches when you want an independent dataset for each market or segment.
Why are some enriched fields empty?
Not every company publishes every field, and available public data varies between profiles. The Actor keeps a stable output structure and returns null or an empty array when a value is unavailable.
Why can the exact employee count differ from the employee range?
They are separate LinkedIn measurements and may be updated at different times. The Actor returns both, adds employeeDataConsistent, and marks contradictions as conflicting. Enable strict employee filtering when contradictory records should be excluded automatically.
Why was a company enriched but not published?
Strict post-validation can exclude a company after its headquarters or employee data is retrieved. The enrichment is still charged because the detailed profile was successfully fetched and used for validation. Check postEnrichmentFilteredCompanies in the run summary.
Can I use the results in a CRM?
Yes. Download Excel, CSV, or JSON, connect the dataset to Google Sheets, or consume it through the Apify API and integrations.
