What data does it extract?

Each run produces one dataset record:

Comment result: post URL, original comment text, final posted comment (after keyword embedding)

Keyword processing: comma-separated list of perfume/brand names found in your comment and linked via Fragrantica's perfume search

Run metadata: timestamp, status (success / error / failed), error message (if the post was rejected or flagged as spam)

Output is available as JSON, CSV, or Excel via the Apify dataset export.

How to use

Technical notes

• Fragrantica account required: You must have a registered Fragrantica forum account. The Actor uses your credentials to log in.
• Residential proxies: Apify residential US proxies are used automatically — no additional proxy configuration needed.
• Anti-bot: Uses Patchright (patched Chrome via CDP) in non-headless mode with human-like mouse movements and delays. Handles Cloudflare Turnstile automatically.
• Session reuse: Session cookies are saved after the first login and reused on subsequent runs to reduce login overhead.
• Post locking: If the target forum post is locked or archived, the Actor will report a failed status with a descriptive error message.
• Keyword fallback: If a keyword is not found in Fragrantica's perfume search dropdown, it is typed directly as plain text into the comment.
• One post per run: Each Actor run targets a single forum post URL.
