Point this at your channel and up to five competitors and get back the content topics they publish that you do not — ranked by how many views those videos actually pull, with example videos and suggested titles for each gap.

It answers the question every channel owner has after a competitor analysis: so what should I make next?

What you get

One row per content topic:

  • topic and description — what a video on this topic actually contains
  • coveredByYou — whether your channel already has comparable videos
  • opportunityScore (0-100) — built from real numbers: how these videos perform against your own median views, how recent the topic is, and how many competitors prove it works
  • competitorVideoCount, competitorTotalViews, competitorAvgViews, competitorMedianViews
  • viewsVsYourMedian — 3.04 means videos on this topic average three times your channel's median
  • topVideoTitle, topVideoUrl, topVideoViews and up to five exampleVideos
  • coveringChannels and newestVideoDaysAgo — who is doing it and how fresh it is
  • suggestedTitles — three specific titles you could publish on the topic
  • yourVideosOnTopic — your closest existing videos, so you can judge the call yourself

Use cases

  • Content planning — turn a competitor set into a ranked list of what to film next
  • Channel audits — deliver a clear gap analysis to a client with numbers attached
  • Niche research — map what an entire niche covers before launching a channel
  • Relaunch and pivots — find the topics your audience watches elsewhere
  • Agency pitches — show a prospect exactly what their competitors earn views on

How to use

  1. Enter Your channel (a @handle, channel URL or UC… ID). Leave it empty to simply map what a set of channels covers.
  2. Add up to five Competitor channels.
  3. Set Videos per channel — 60 recent uploads each is a good default; raise it for a broader picture.
  4. Optionally turn on Include Shorts or Include topics you already cover.
  5. Run the actor — topics appear in the Dataset tab, highest opportunity first.

Notes

  • View counts come from the public channel pages, so they are the same rounded figures YouTube shows (1.2M views). Medians and averages are computed from those.
  • Topics are grouped from the videos that were actually read — raise Videos per channel if a competitor posts very frequently and you want more history.
  • Channels with hidden view counts still contribute their titles; their videos simply carry null views.
