Costa Cruises Scraper — Complete Cruise Data Extractor

Extract cruise listings, itineraries, and pricing from Costa Cruises across 8 international markets. Built for travel agencies, price comparison sites, affiliate marketers, and analysts.

Why Choose This Scraper?

  • ✅ Extract from 8 Costa markets (Italy, US, Germany, Austria, UK, Netherlands, France, Spain) with local-currency pricing
  • ✅ Complete cruise records — ship, itinerary, ports of call, sailing dates, duration, and lead pricing
  • ✅ Filter by 12 destination regions (Western/Eastern Mediterranean, Northern Europe & Fjords, Caribbean, Asia, South America, and more)
  • Direct itinerary URLs on every sailing — ready for affiliate deep-linking
  • ✅ One clean record per sailing, deduplicated and zero-price sailings dropped automatically
  • platform tag on every record for multi-market deduplication

Use Cases

  • Travel agencies & OTAs — track Costa pricing across European markets daily
  • Affiliate/comparison sites — populate Costa inventory with deep-links
  • Price analysts — monitor Costa fare curves for forecasting
  • Internal benchmarking — cruise lines comparing against Costa positioning

Pricing

Every sailing carries the lowest available per-person price in the market's currency via price.amount / price.currency. This is the Costa catalog's Interior (lead-in) fare — the published headline price.

Alongside it, the scraper passes through Costa's raw catalog price fields as price_{CURRENCY}_* (for example price_EUR_anonymous and price_EUR_standard), which break the lead-in price down by fare type and loyalty tier. These are all Interior-baseline lead prices.

Cabin coverage: A full per-cabin price matrix (Ocean View / Balcony / Suite) is not part of the current output. Pricing reflects Costa's catalog Interior lead-in fare across fare and loyalty tiers.

Output

Each record is a single sailing with:

  • Cruise and itinerary identifiers (cruiseId, itineraryId)
  • Ship name, departure/arrival ports (name + code), duration (nights)
  • Departure and arrival dates (ISO format)
  • Lowest available per-person price with currency (price.amount, price.currency)
  • Ports of call with day indicators (portsList[].portName / dayIndicator)
  • Normalized destination plus raw destination names and IDs
  • Service charges and port charges
  • Raw catalog lead-price fields carried through as price_{CURRENCY}_* (e.g., price_EUR_anonymous, price_EUR_standard) — the Interior lead-in fare by fare/loyalty tier
  • itineraryURL — direct link to the sailing page for deep-linking / affiliate tracking (Costa emits this field as itineraryURL, not the source_url some other scrapers use)
  • platformcosta-{region} for multi-market deduplication

Sample Output

{
"cruiseId": "MED0925_2026-09-13",

"platform": "costa-it_IT"
}

Runtime & Cost

  • Typical run: a few minutes for 500 rows on a single market
  • Larger sweeps: scale maxRows up to 3000; runtime grows with pagination
  • Proxy: Optional — catalog returns without one; residential proxy recommended for geo-accurate pricing
  • Duplicate sailings and zero-price fare shells are filtered out before they reach the dataset

Usage

{
"region": "it_IT",
"maxRows": 500,
"destinations": ["CW", "CE", "CA"],
"useApifyProxy": true
}

Notes

  • Costa prices are per-person
  • Set region to pick both the market website and its output currency (see Supported Markets)
  • Sailings with no published fare (blank €0 shells) are dropped automatically, so every record carries a real headline price
  • For affiliate tracking, append your parameters to itineraryURL on the consuming side
  • Enable useApifyProxy (or supply a geo-matched proxyUrl) to pin pricing to the region's country

Looking to build a full cruise pricing dataset? Pair this with:

  • Royal Caribbean Scraper — per-cabin pricing
  • Norwegian (NCL) Scraper — multi-market, enrichable details
  • Celebrity Cruises Scraper — service charges included
  • Carnival Cruises Scraper — high volume
  • MSC / Princess / Holland America / Disney Scrapers — full coverage
