Check up to 20 Shopify product pages per run. Get price drops, price rises, restocks, sold-out variants and changed variant lists, with a saved baseline for your next run.

Start

  1. Add canonical HTTPS product URLs, for example https://kith.com/products/jb151186-103. Remove query parameters and use the final URL after redirects.
  2. Keep a watchlist name. The first run saves a baseline and returns current prices and availability; it does not claim a new restock.
  3. Run again, or create an Apify schedule with the same product list and name. Use one run at a time for each watchlist. Changed product lists or watchlist names create a separate baseline.
  4. Export the dataset as JSON, CSV or Excel. changes contains the detected events, snapshot contains every returned variant, and SUMMARY records successful checks, errors and charge-limit status.

No email or chat messages are sent by this Actor. Use Apify integrations if you want to route the results elsewhere.

Billing unit

The event product-checked represents one successfully checked product page, including all returned variants. Initial baseline checks and unchanged checks count too. Failed checks have no billable event. The current price, when enabled, is shown on the Actor's Pricing tab. Platform usage still applies during private testing before event pricing is enabled.

Limits

  • Public Shopify Ajax product data only. No login, proxies, CAPTCHA solving or store modifications.
  • Redirects, inaccessible pages, uncertain currencies and incomplete responses return errors and preserve the prior baseline.
  • Products with 250 or more returned variants are rejected because the public endpoint may truncate them.
  • Prices reflect the storefront currency observed from the execution region, not necessarily the shopper's region. Currency changes are flagged separately; no currency conversion is inferred.
  • Availability is a boolean, not inventory quantity. A missing variant is reported as missing, not sold out.
  • Concurrent runs of the same watchlist are not supported. Retrying after interrupted delivery can repeat a result; downstream notifications should deduplicate if needed.
  • This is an early version. Successful execution does not imply exhaustive coverage of every Shopify store.

Local prototype: python3 run.py URL --state state.json --output report.json. In Fake-IP network environments, add --https-dns. Tests: python3 -m unittest discover -v.
