Japan Public Holidays Scraper

Scrape all Japan national public holidays with dates and names in both Japanese and English. Built on the open-source holidays-jp dataset (MIT license).

What data does it provide?

This Actor fetches the complete list of Japan's national public holidays, including:

• Holiday date in YYYY-MM-DD format
• Japanese name (e.g., 元日, 成人の日, 春分の日)
• English translation (e.g., New Year's Day, Coming of Age Day, Vernal Equinox Day)
• Day of week (Monday, Tuesday, etc.)
• Year, month, and day as separate fields for easy filtering

All 16 standard Japanese national holidays are covered, plus substitute holidays and special one-time holidays.
