SIÁN Agency Store Store-Amazon Influencer & Deals Bundle Store-Instagram AI Transcript Extractor Store-TikTok AI Transcript Extractor

📋 Overview

Bulk Amazon ASIN lookup is ridiculously simple here. Paste one ASIN, paste a thousand, drop an array, or point at a remote text file — get one clean flat detail row per ASIN with everything Amazon ships on the product page. No keyword search to wade through, no review crawl to budget for, no influencer hub. One job, done well.

Perfect for catalog enrichment teams, price-monitoring SaaS founders, competitor-inventory analysts, and merchandising-intel researchers who need rich Amazon product data — title, byline + brand-store links, full photo gallery, Best Seller / Amazon's Choice / Climate Pledge Friendly / Prime badges, star rating, ratings count, availability, and condition — across 19 Amazon marketplaces.

Why thousands of professionals choose us:

  • Zero Learning Curve: Paste ASINs, click Run, get perfect detail rows
  • Bulk-First Design: Single ASIN or 10,000 — auto-dedup, format validation, invalid IDs skipped silently
  • 🎯 45+ Fields Per Row: Curated camelCase aliases plus raw upstream fields spread alongside for power users

🎬 Quick Start

So simple, no training needed! Just paste ASINs and click Run.

# Or use API - one line
curl -X POST https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/sian.agency~amazon-asin-lookup/runs?token=YOUR_TOKEN \
-d '{"asin":"B09LNW3CY2","country":"US"}'

🚀 Getting Started (3 Simple Steps)

Step 1: Paste Your Amazon ASINs

Copy and paste any Amazon ASINs — single ASIN, a comma-separated list, or a newline-separated block. Works with one or ten thousand. No special formatting needed; the actor auto-dedups and skips invalid IDs.

Step 2: Pick Your Marketplace

Choose your Amazon marketplace from the dropdown — US, UK, DE, JP, AU, IN, BR, and 12 more. One setting, applied to every ASIN in the run.

Step 3: Click Run

One click and we look up every ASIN against Amazon's live product pages. Failed lookups are skipped from billing. Successful rows land in your dataset ready to export to Excel, CSV, or JSON.

That's it! In seconds per ASIN, you'll have:

  • Complete product detail rows: title, price, original price, byline + brand-store links
  • Full HTTPS photo galleries ready to embed
  • Boolean badge flags: Best Seller, Amazon's Choice, Prime, Climate Pledge Friendly
  • Star rating + ratings count + offer count for instant quality signal
  • Availability and condition for stock-state monitoring
  • Failed-lookup rows with translated error messages — never charged

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How many ASINs can I look up in one run? A: There's no per-run cap — paste one or ten thousand. The actor auto-dedups, validates format (10-char alphanumeric), and skips invalid IDs silently. You're only charged for successful detail rows.

Q: What's an ASIN? A: A 10-character alphanumeric Amazon Standard Identification Number — Amazon's internal product ID. It appears on every product page (e.g. B09LNW3CY2 for Apple iPhone 13). It's the only input this actor needs.

Q: Does this work with Amazon UK / DE / JP / other marketplaces? A: Yes — 19 marketplaces supported via the country dropdown: US, CA, UK, DE, FR, IT, ES, JP, AU, IN, BR, MX, NL, SE, TR, PL, AE, SA, SG. One setting per run, applied to every ASIN.

Q: Why are some ASIN lookups marked status:"error"? A: The ASIN may have been removed, blocked, or Amazon may have served an unexpected response. Error rows include a plain-English translated error message and are never charged to your account.

Q: Can I look up ASINs from a CSV / Excel / Google Sheet? A: Yes — paste the ASIN column into the "Bulk ASINs" textarea (any separator works), or host the file publicly and pass its URL as "ASINs file URL".

Q: Does this actor extract reviews, search results, deals, or influencer storefronts? A: No — by design. This actor does one thing: ASIN → detail row. For reviews, search, Best Sellers, deals, and Amazon Influencer Hub data, see our Amazon Influencer & Deals Bundle — the same 8-op actor with all operations in one place.

Q: What output formats are available? A: JSON, CSV, Excel — export directly from the Apify dataset console, or pull via API for your pipeline.

Q: How accurate is the data? A: Every row is live-scraped from Amazon's public product page at the moment of the run. Prices, badges, availability, and ratings reflect the live state — not a stale cache.

🐛 Troubleshooting

ASINs returning empty success rows with null fields

  • The ASIN may be valid format but inactive on the marketplace you chose. Try switching country (e.g. a UK-only ASIN won't return US data).
  • Confirm the ASIN exists on the Amazon domain you're targeting by opening https://amazon.<domain>/dp/<ASIN>.

Every ASIN returning status:"error" with "Rate limit reached"

  • The upstream rate limit was hit. Wait a few moments and retry; the actor retries 3× automatically with exponential backoff.

Invalid ASINs silently dropped from results

  • The actor validates ASINs against ^[A-Z0-9]{10}$ and skips anything that doesn't match. Check your input for lowercase letters, leading/trailing whitespace, or 11-char product IDs (Amazon uses 10).

Bulk paste returning fewer rows than ASINs pasted

  • Duplicates are auto-merged. If you paste the same ASIN 5 times, you get one lookup. Use asins (JSON array) if you need positional tracking.

Error rows but no successful rows after a full run

  • Check your country setting — ASINs valid for US won't return data on JP or BR.
