Clutch.co Agency & B2B Company Scraper — Ratings, Rates & Firmographics 🏢

SIÁN Agency Store Email & Contact Lead Scraper North Data Scraper Google Maps Scraper

💰 Pay listing prices for listing data — not profile prices for all 10,000 rows

Agencies, hourly rates, project minimums and team sizes from any Clutch directory

A Clutch directory page lists roughly 45 companies at once. A company's own profile page lists one. Every other Clutch scraper charges you the same rate for both, because every other Clutch scraper fetches a profile page for every single company whether you needed it or not.

This one prices the two separately. Bulk lead lists cost $0.75 per 1,000 companies. When you actually want founding years, social accounts, registered business entities and full review histories, the deeper pass is $1.75 per 1,000. Both sit well under the $1.50 the cheapest listings-only competitor charges, and less than half what the category's most popular actor does.

Test it free — no credit card, no API key, no login.

🔎 What is the Clutch.co Agency & B2B Company Scraper — and when should you use it?

The Clutch.co Agency & B2B Company Scraper turns B2B agencies and service providers from Clutch.co with ratings, rates and firmographics into clean, structured rows you can filter, export and feed straight into a spreadsheet, database or AI agent. No account, no portal API key, no browser automation to maintain.

Use it when you need: you need B2B agencies or service providers as structured rows. Every company carries its client rating and review count, hourly-rate band, minimum project size, team-size band, verified street address, phone number and its own website. Point it at any Clutch directory — a service line such as SEO or branding, or a location — and every company listed there comes back. Profile mode adds founding year, the company's own social accounts, its registered business entity, every office location, its service-mix breakdown and its full published review history.

Use something else when: you need contact emails, or a different kind of company data. Use Email & Contact Lead Scraper for turning the agency websites this actor returns into named contacts and email addresses — Clutch itself publishes none. Use North Data Scraper for EU company registers: officers, filings and financials for the European agencies in your list. Use Google Maps Scraper for the same lead workflow for local businesses rather than B2B agencies. This actor covers Clutch.co only, and Clutch publishes no email addresses anywhere.

Already connected to the Apify MCP server? Just ask for this Actor by name: sian.agency/clutch-agency-scraper

Your agent can pay for its own runs. This Actor is eligible for agentic payments, so an agent can discover it, run it and settle the bill over x402 (USDC on Base) or Skyfire — without an Apify account or API token of its own. Billing is the same either way: per successful row, never for errors.

Otherwise copy this prompt into Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or any MCP-enabled assistant:

I want B2B agency and service-provider data from Clutch.co using the Apify Actor `sian.agency/clutch-agency-scraper`.
Use it when I need: you need B2B agencies or service providers as structured rows.
Don't use it when: you need contact emails, or a different kind of company data — use email-contact-lead-scraper or northdata-company-scraper or local-business-data-scraper instead.
How to call it: paste one or more Clutch directory URLs into `searchUrls` — copy them straight from the browser, for example `https://clutch.co/seo-firms`, `https://clutch.co/agencies/branding` or `https://clutch.co/it-services` — and set `operation` to `directorySearch` for cheap bulk listings or `companyProfile` to additionally fetch each company's own page for founding year, socials, registered entity and offices; add `includeReviews` for the full review history, `minRating` to skip anything below a score (filtered before any profile page is fetched, so it genuinely lowers the bill), and `maxResults` to cap the run. `companyUrls` takes specific profile URLs directly when you already know the companies.
Start with this input:
{
"operation": "directorySearch",
"searchUrls": [
"https://clutch.co/seo-firms"
],
"maxResults": 50,
"minRating": 4
}
Ask me which service line or location on Clutch, and whether you want the cheap listing rows or the full profile pass with reviews, then run the Actor and summarise the results as a table.

Things you can ask your agent for:

  • Get me every SEO agency on Clutch rated 4.5 or better, with their hourly rates and websites
  • Pull IT consulting firms from Clutch including founding year and their registered business entity
  • Build a shortlist of branding agencies under a $25,000 minimum project size
  • Export app development companies with their full client review history

📋 Overview

Clutch.co is where B2B buyers shortlist agencies, and it publishes the three things a buyer actually filters on before anyone picks up a phone: what a firm charges per hour, the smallest project it will take, and what its verified clients scored it. This actor turns any Clutch directory into rows carrying exactly that, plus the company's own website and phone number.

Roughly 385,000 company profiles sit behind Clutch's sitemap, across some 70,000 directory pages. A single broad category like Creative runs 262 pages deep, and pagination is real — page 1, page 2 and page 50 of the same directory share no companies at all.

Two modes, priced to match what they cost us:

ModeWhat a request returnsPrice
🔍 Directory Search36–49 companies per page$0.75 / 1,000
📄 Company Profileone company, deeply enriched$1.75 / 1,000
▶️ Run startone event per run, at 256 MB$0.005 per run

✨ Features

  • ⭐ Ratings that mean something — Clutch scores come from verified client reviews, and every row carries both the score and the number of reviews behind it, so a 5.0 from one client never looks like a 5.0 from forty.
  • 💵 Hourly rate and project minimum on every row — the two numbers that disqualify most of a shortlist before a call, available in bulk mode without paying for the deep pass.
  • 👥 Team size and verified location — headcount band, street address, city, region, postal code and country.
  • 🌐 The company's real website — Clutch wraps every outbound link in its own redirect and appends tracking parameters. Those are unwrapped and stripped, so you get the bare domain.
  • 📄 Deep profiles when you want them — founding year, the company's own LinkedIn/Facebook/X/ Instagram, its service-mix breakdown, every office location, and its registered business entity with legal name, jurisdiction, formation date, status and registry id.
  • ⭐ Full review history included — title, author, date, score and body text, at no extra event. Competing actors meter this as a paid add-on.
  • 🎯 Filter before you pay — the minimum-rating filter runs before any profile page is fetched, so raising it genuinely lowers your bill instead of just hiding rows.
  • 🛡️ No proxy to configure — Clutch is bot-protected; handling that is our problem. You are never asked to buy residential bandwidth on top of the per-company price.
  • 📄 Structured, typed output — ratings are numbers, review counts are integers, and a run either returns a complete row or reports why it could not.

🚀 Getting Started (3 Simple Steps)

Step 1: Find your directory on Clutch

Browse clutch.co to the list you want — a service line (https://clutch.co/seo-firms), a location (https://clutch.co/us/agencies/digital-marketing), or any filtered view. Copy the URL from the address bar.

Step 2: Paste it in and choose your depth

Put the URL in 🔗 Clutch directory URLs. Leave the mode on Directory Search for bulk leads, or switch to Company Profile when you want founding years, social accounts, registered entities and reviews.

Step 3: Press Run

Pagination is followed automatically until Max results is reached. Set it to 0 to take an entire directory — but pair that with a narrow URL, because some run past 260 pages.

📥 Input Configuration

FieldTypeDefaultWhat it does
operationselectdirectorySearchdirectorySearch returns every company on a directory page (cheapest). companyProfile additionally fetches each company's own page.
searchUrlsarray["https://clutch.co/agencies/creative"]One or more Clutch directory URLs, copied from your browser.
companyUrlsarray[]Specific profile URLs, scraped directly. Always billed at the profile rate.
includeReviewsbooleanfalseAdds every published client review. Selects profile mode automatically, since reviews only exist there.
maxResultsinteger100Stop after this many companies. 0 takes the whole directory.
minRatinginteger0Skip companies below this score. Applied before any profile fetch.

There is deliberately no proxy, concurrency or retry setting. Those are our problem, not a number you should have to guess.

💼 Use Cases & Examples

1. Agency shortlisting for an RFP

Pull a service line and city, filter on hourly-rate band and minimum project size, and hand a procurement team a costed shortlist before anyone books a call.

2. Agency-to-agency partnership sourcing

Directory rows carry website, phone and postal address — enough to route a prospect list straight into a CRM. Turn on the profile pass only for the segment worth a personal approach.

3. Competitive rate benchmarking

Hourly-rate bands and project minimums sit on every row, so one run over a service line gives you the real price distribution of that market instead of the three quotes you'd otherwise collect.

4. Market tracking over time

Run the same directory on a schedule and diff the results: who enters, who disappears, whose rating moves, who changes their rate band. Company ids are stable, so rows join cleanly.

5. Supplier due diligence

The profile pass returns the registered business entity — legal name, jurisdiction, formation date, status and registry id — alongside the published financial-risk check and the full review history. That is a public record, not a marketing page.

6. Investor and M&A mapping

Team-size bands, founding years and service mixes across a whole vertical, in one export.

Automation Workflows (N8N / Zapier / Make)

Trigger the actor on a schedule and pipe the dataset straight into a CRM, a Google Sheet or a Slack digest. A weekly run over one service line, diffed against the last, is an early signal on who is entering or leaving a market. In N8N, use the Apify node's Run Actor action and read defaultDatasetId from the output.

📊 Performance & Pricing

A directory page yields 36–49 companies per request, so 1,000 companies is roughly 23 requests.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Does this return email addresses?

No, because Clutch does not publish them. A full company profile page contains zero email addresses and zero mailto: links, so no scraper can honestly return one from this source. Every row does carry the company's own website and public phone number. To go from those websites to named contacts, pair it with the Email & Contact Lead Scraper.

What is the difference between the two modes?

A directory page lists 36–49 companies at once, so one request returns dozens of rows and costs very little per company — that is Directory Search at $0.75 per 1,000. A company's own page has to be fetched one at a time but carries founding year, social links, registered business entity, all office locations and the full review history. That is Company Profile at $1.75 per 1,000. Staying in Directory Search is roughly 2.3× cheaper per company.

Do I need a proxy?

No, and there is no proxy setting to configure. Clutch is bot-protected, but handling that is our problem, not yours — you are never asked to buy residential bandwidth on top of the per-company price.

How deep can I go into one directory?

As deep as Clutch publishes. Pagination is genuine rather than a repeated first page — pages 1, 2 and 50 of the same directory share no companies at all — and a broad category such as Creative runs to 262 pages, roughly 12,800 companies. Set Max results to 0 only on a directory you actually want in full.

Are the ratings current?

They are read live at the moment of the run; nothing is cached or reused between runs. Clutch computes the rating from its verified client reviews, and the row carries both the score and the number of reviews behind it.

Why is the website different from the link shown on Clutch?

Clutch wraps every outbound link in its own redirect and appends tracking parameters. The actor unwraps that and strips the tracking, so you get the company's bare website rather than a Clutch analytics URL that expires.

🐛 Troubleshooting

"No Clutch directory exists at …" — the URL is wrong, not blocked. Open Clutch in a browser, navigate to the list you want, and copy the URL from the address bar. Some plausible-looking slugs genuinely do not exist.

Fewer rows than Max results — the directory ran out of companies, or your minimum rating filtered them. The run log prints how many were skipped below the threshold; those are never charged.

A row has no founding year or socials — you are in Directory Search mode, or that company simply does not publish them. Switch to Company Profile for the deep fields.

"Could not read …" — a page was temporarily unavailable after retries. Re-running usually clears it, and nothing unread is ever charged.

This actor reads only publicly available pages — the same ones any visitor sees without logging in. It collects business information about companies, not personal data about individuals, and it does not attempt to access anything behind a login. Published review text and author names are reproduced as Clutch publishes them publicly. You remain responsible for how you use the output, including under GDPR/CCPA where a reviewer's name may count as personal data. Apify has a useful guide on the legality of web scraping.
