Scrapers find businesses. This tells you which ones are worth contacting.

Feed it the output of any Google Maps scraper and get back a scored list:

  • QUALIFIED — real, established, owner-reachable businesses
  • CUT — with the reason: franchise/chain, keyword-stuffed lead-gen shell, too new, too big, aggregator-only web presence, missing data
  • WEDGE flag — businesses that market their services but have no visible booking or capture path on their website. They are paying for interest they cannot capture — the strongest cold-outreach opener there is.

Why qualify?

Raw Maps scrapes are ~50-80% noise: franchises whose marketing is corporate-owned, SEO shell listings that are not real businesses, and shops too new or too big to buy from you. Sending to noise burns your sender reputation and your time. This actor applies the filters a good SDR would apply by hand, in seconds.

"leads": [
{ "name": "Example Restoration Co", "rating": 4.8, "reviews": 132,
"website": "https://example.com", "phone": "+1 555 0100", "email": "owner@example.com" }
],
"minRating": "3.7",
"maxRating": "4.8",
"minReviews": 20,
"maxReviews": 200,
"scanWebsites": true
}

Works with the JSON/CSV output of any Maps scraper (Outscraper, Apify Google Maps actors, etc.). Extra fields are ignored safely.

The default gates (and why)

  • Rating 3.7–4.8 — below = struggling; a perfect 5.0 usually means too new or gamed
  • Reviews 20–200 — below = unproven; above = you'll reach staff layers, not the owner
  • Chain/franchise cut — corporate owns their marketing; there is no owner to sell
  • Shell cut — keyword-stuffed name + thin reviews + weak site = lead-gen front, not a business
  • Wedge scan — homepage fetched and checked for booking/quote/capture paths
