New UK company leads and company data from the official Companies House API, using your own free key. Filter new incorporations by date, SIC, type and postcode; look up companies; monitor filings, status, charges and insolvency. Without a key it returns fictional sample data only.
15 Oct 2026 (build after this entry): default run memory is now 1024 MB via defaultMemoryMbytes (the old defaultRunOptions 512 MB was ignored so runs used 4096 MB; peak 32-47 MB). Measured on the example input: same output, see the public-15 remediation log. You can still choose more memory per run. No change to inputs, outputs or pricing.
1.0.0 (2026-10-11)
First release.
New companies mode using the official Advanced Company Search (/advanced-search/companies): incorporation date range or "last N days", SIC 2007 codes plus plain-English SIC keyword lookup, status, type, subtype, location, name include/exclude. Postcode area/district and locality filters are applied before profile fetches. Size proxy and lead/risk-signal filters. Date ranges are split automatically when a query exceeds the API's 10,000-result paging cap.
Lookup mode: company numbers (normalised and zero-padded) and names (official search with exact-match ranking).
Monitor mode: per-company snapshots in a named key-value store. Detects changes in status, name, address, SIC codes, overdue flags, filings (plain-English descriptions), charges, insolvency and officers (opt-in). State only advances after a check has been delivered and billed.
SIC lookup mode (free, no key).
Normalised output: parsed registered office (postcode area/district), age, SIC descriptions, accounts and confirmation-statement dates and overdue flags, last accounts type and size proxy, charges and insolvency flags, previous names, register page link, lead and risk signals.
Officers and PSC are off by default. When on, they're minimised to published identity fields (no addresses or occupations, never contact details).
Shared token-bucket rate limiter that can't exceed the per-key limit in any 5-minute window. Global pause on 429 (Retry-After / X-Ratelimit-Reset aware), adaptive slow-down from X-Ratelimit-Remain, jittered retries for 5xx and network errors.
Pay-per-event: company, monitor-check. Respects max cost per run, never charges error rows, and charges nothing in sample mode.
Resumable after migration (delivered records are not repeated or re-charged).
Sample mode with fictional fixture data when no API key is given.
