Defense primes, drugmakers and chip designers live and die by Washington. This Actor puts the three money flows side by side: federal contract awards from USAspending.gov, lobbying spend, issues and firms from the Lobbying Disclosure Act database, and Congress trades in the stock, each flagged when the member sits on a committee that oversees the company's sector.
What you can do with it

FAQ
How are companies matched to contract recipients and lobbying clients?
By name, conservatively: a recipient counts when its name, without legal suffixes, equals the company's or starts with a multi-word company name ("Lockheed Martin Aeronautics"). One-word names must match exactly, so "Apple" never picks up "Apple Hospitality REIT". Subsidiaries with their own names (Sikorsky, Pratt & Whitney) need extraNames.
What does contractValueUsd measure?
The total value of the contract awards with activity in the window, largest first, up to maxAwardsPerTicker. When more awards exist, contractsTruncated is true.
Why is lobbying slow for long watchlists?
The lobbying API allows 15 requests a minute without a key. A free key from lda.gov raises that to 120. Paste it in ldaApiKey.
How is committee overlap decided? Each committee is mapped to the sectors in its jurisdiction, and the company's sector comes from its SEC SIC code. See the Congress Stock Trades Tracker for details. Committee assignments are current.
Is this legal to use? Yes. Every source is public data published by the US government.
