Limitations

• Reviews and product specifications come back in Chinese. Titles are in English, and SKU variant names usually are. Review text, some specification names, the dispatch promise and category names inside a product record are not.
• Product detail and reviews need the proxy option turned on. Search and categories do not.
• 1688 shows at most about 2,000 results per keyword. Use several keywords, or another sort order, to go wider.
• A search row's price is the price of the variant on the search card, not always the product's lowest price. The price filter uses that same number. Product detail gives the full range.
• Categories: up to 1,000 per run, widest levels first. Use categoryIds for the deeper levels of a branch.
• Reviews arrive 10 per page, 1688's own limit. The written-reviews filter is 1688's own and still lets through some automatic five-star texts.
• A product that still can't be read after several tries is named in the run status and isn't charged.
• No search by image.

How do I scrape 1688 without coding?

Do I need a 1688 account, cookies, or a proxy?

No account and no cookies. Turn the proxy option on for product detail, reviews and full product details in search. The actor retries a product on another address if 1688 refuses it, and switches to a residential address on its own if the usual ones keep failing.

Why are some of my variants empty?

They shouldn't be. Every SKU variant comes with its own price and live stock, including on products where 1688 shows a price range. If a product with clear options returns an empty list, open an issue with the offer ID.

Can I filter by price or minimum order quantity?

Yes. Price range and maximum MOQ work in search and product detail, and every search row shows its MOQ and certificates so you can check them. Rows that don't match are never charged.

What is the difference between the prices I see?

Search rows carry priceUsd and priceCny for the variant on the search card. Product detail rows are in CNY, with the price range and the full MOQ ladder, so you can see the unit price at 300 or 9,000 pieces.

What happens if an offer ID does not exist?

The run continues, names the offer in the status message, and doesn't charge for it. A line that is neither an offer ID nor a 1688 link is skipped and named too.

Can I use it from code or an AI agent?

Is scraping 1688 legal?

It collects only what 1688 shows any visitor, with no login. How you use the data is your responsibility, including 1688's terms and the law that applies to you.
