Several of the newer countries list local and US dollar prices side by side. Every row carries the currency of its own price, so nothing is converted or guessed.

Four scraping modes

🔍 Search mode

Type a keyword (for example, iphone 15) or paste a search or category URL. Get one row per product card with title, brand, thumbnail, price, currency, rating, condition, item ID, category, units sold, seller or official store name, and position in the results. Every row also carries the shipping line, whether shipping is free and arrives next day, the monthly payment plan, the price before discount, the discount percentage, and labels like MÁS VENDIDO.

Results go past the first page. Set maxItems to how many you want (up to 2,000 per search, or 0 for all of them) and the actor pages through for you.

Narrow a keyword search the way MercadoLibre's own filters do: sort by price, new / used / refurbished, a price range, a minimum discount, free shipping only, FULL shipping only, official stores only, or a category ID. All of them are optional and off by default. They work in Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador and Venezuela; on the other nine sites MercadoLibre only supports sorting, so a run there with another filter stops with a message and costs nothing.

Every search row also says which keyword and listing it came from (searchQuery, searchUrl), how many results MercadoLibre reports for that search (totalResults), and carries listingUrl, a link that opens exactly the seller and price the row describes. Sponsored listings are left out by default; turn on Include Sponsored Listings to get them too, marked isSponsored.

Need more than the listing shows? Turn on Scrape product details for each result and every row also carries the full description, complete image gallery, seller ID and reputation, stock line, attributes, category breadcrumbs, warranty, return policy, shipping type, feature list and star breakdown when the product page shows them, plus the rating and number of ratings shown on the product page. Runs take longer because each result is opened individually. Product details are a paid add-on on top of each search row; see the pricing section.

📦 Product mode

Paste a product URL (catalog /p/, listing /up/, item page, or a plain ID like MLM27172669). Get a full product detail record per URL:

• Title, the description shown on the product page, brand, condition, SKU, the full high resolution image gallery
• Current price, original price, discount percentage (against the regular price; in Brazil the Pix price comes separately, with its condition), currency, stock line
• Rating, number of ratings, star breakdown, total review count, top 5 reviews inline
• Seller name, reputation level, power seller status, official store flag and store name
• The listing ID of the offer the page shows, and units sold on item pages
• Installments as the page shows them: quantity, per payment amount, total
• Payment methods the page lists (credit and debit cards, cash, Pix, Boleto, and so on), and the official store ID
• Shipping: free flag, shipping type (Full or seller-shipped), origin, destination, handling and transit days
• Warranty, return policy and the feature list, whenever the product page shows them
• Every color / storage / size variant
• Up to 20 buyer questions with the seller's answers and timestamps
• Breadcrumbs and every technical spec on the page
• Car and motorcycle ads work too

Turn off reviews, questions or variations in the Product mode options when you do not need them. Rows appear in the order of your URLs.

⭐ Reviews mode

Paste a product URL. Get one row per review with star rating, full review text, date, reviewer country, likes count, and attached photos or videos.

Set Max Items to 0 for the full sweep: every star rating, both sort orders and each country's own review list for the product, with no review returned twice. Products with up to a few hundred reviews come back complete. The most reviewed products (thousands of reviews) can return a couple of thousand unique reviews, because MercadoLibre stops every review list after a few hundred entries.

Catalog URLs (/p/), listing URLs (/up/), item URLs (articulo.) and plain IDs all work. An item URL returns the listing's own reviews, or, when the listing belongs to a catalog product, the same reviews its catalog URL returns. A product with no reviews returns no rows and costs nothing, and when none of the products in a run have reviews, the run ends with a message saying so.

🏪 Seller mode

Paste a seller's listings URL, a brand store or shop URL, a numeric seller ID, or a seller nickname. Get the seller's catalog, one row per listing, plus a profile row for brand stores and shops.

What each input returns:

• Brand store (/tienda/<name>, /loja/<name> on Brazil): that store's own listings only, even when the same company runs other stores, plus the store's profile row where MercadoLibre has a store page.
• Seller listings URL, seller ID or nickname: every listing the seller has. When the seller runs a shop page, its profile row comes too.
• Nicknames work in Mexico, Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia, including names with spaces such as DIMM OK. Where a nickname only opens a reputation page (for example the Dominican Republic), the run says so and asks for the seller ID or listings URL.

Catalog rows (up to 2,000 per seller) with title, price with cents, currency, rating, units sold, the shipping line, free shipping flag, monthly payment plan, price before discount, discount percentage, condition, item and catalog IDs, the listing's position in the seller's catalog, and the seller's name and ID, plus the nickname and the seller's total number of listings when the listings page shows them. Store rows also carry the official store name and ID.

Profile row (one per brand store or shop) with 30+ fields:

• Seller ID and name, shop name, shop type, slug, official store ID
• Followers count, date created, status, brand registry
• Logo, banner image, mobile banner, header style, subdomain
• Tags such as priority_brand or has_followers
• Compliance flags: has_moderations, has_debts, restrictions
• Free trial start, end, and period
• Section menu with each section's name, URL, and category ID

MercadoLibre does not publish sellers' addresses, phone numbers or email addresses, so sellerAddress, sellerPhone and sellerEmail are always null.

The profile row counts toward maxItems: maxItems: 30 on a brand store returns the profile plus 29 listings. A seller or store that does not exist returns no rows and a message saying so, and costs nothing.

Every search run also has a start fee of $0.005 (half a cent), once per run, whatever the number of rows.

• Search product details: one per search row whose product page was read. If a product page could not be read, that row is not charged for details.

• Result (product, reviews and seller modes): one per row in those modes.

Two date fields, because they answer different questions:

• reviewDate is the exact publish time in ISO 8601 (2023-11-21T16:00:16Z). Use this one to sort, filter by period, or compare reviews.
• reviewDateText is the wording MercadoLibre shows on the page, in the language of that marketplace (Hace más de 1 año on MX and AR, Há 2 meses on BR). Useful if you are mirroring what a shopper sees, but it is relative to the moment you scraped and it does not age well in storage.

In seller rows, position is the listing's place in the seller's catalog, soldQuantity is the units-sold bucket shown on the listing, sellerNickname is filled when MercadoLibre names the seller by nickname on the listings page, and totalListings is how many listings the seller (or, for a brand store, the store) has in total.

itemId is the ID of that specific listing, one seller's offer. It is filled on nearly every search row. On catalog listings, catalogProductId is the shared catalog entry several sellers can list under.

position is the rank in the results across all pages, counting organic listings only. Numbers can skip where MercadoLibre shows the same listing twice.

soldQuantity is the units sold as MercadoLibre shows it, in buckets like 50, 500 or 5000, so treat it as a magnitude. highlight is the label on the card, such as MÁS VENDIDO.

ratingCount on a plain search row is null, because the count on the search page does not match the one on the product page. Turn on product details and rating and ratingCount come together from the product page, so they always describe the same thing.

With product details on:

• logisticType is how MercadoLibre ships the listing: fulfillment means stored and shipped by Mercado Libre Full, self_service is Flex, cross_docking, xd_drop_off or drop_off mean the seller ships it, and not_specified or custom mean the seller arranges it. It can vary with the delivery location.
• warranty is the warranty as the listing states it: type (seller, factory or none, and null when the page does not clearly say whose warranty it is), duration, unit, and the text shown.
• returnPolicy is included only when the product page shows the same policy.
• features is the product's list of key points. ratingDistribution is the percent of ratings per star.
• detailScraped is true when the product page was read and merged, and false when it could not be read. Those rows keep their search fields.

isInternational is true when MercadoLibre marks the listing as international or cross-border shipping, and false for a regular domestic listing. It appears on search, product and seller rows, and comes from the listing page itself, so no detail fetch is needed. Reviews rows do not carry it.

condition is NewCondition, UsedCondition, RefurbishedCondition or OpenBoxCondition. It comes from the listing page itself, so it arrives on search and seller rows with no detail fetch. It is null when MercadoLibre does not state a condition, which is the case for vehicle, property and service listings, where the site shows attributes like year or floor area instead.

stockText is the remaining stock exactly as MercadoLibre prints it above the buy buttons: 4 disponibles, +10 disponibles, or Ultima en Stock! when one is left. A plus sign means at least that many, not exactly that many, because MercadoLibre caps the figure it shows. It comes from the product page, so it appears on product rows and on search rows when detail scraping is on. It is null when the page states no figure, for example on pre-order listings.

Limitations

• Search and seller catalogs stop at 2,000 items per query or per seller. To go deeper, split the work: narrower keywords, category filters, or one run per storefront section.
• Sponsored listings are left out unless you turn on Include Sponsored Listings. Without it you get the organic results, ranked as MercadoLibre ranks them. With it, an item shown both as an ad and organically on the same page comes back once, as its organic row.
• Search filters other than sorting work in nine countries (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Peru, Uruguay, Ecuador, Venezuela). MercadoLibre's other nine sites ignore them, so a run there that sets one stops with a message and costs nothing.
• Seller mode works in 17 countries. In Costa Rica MercadoLibre currently shows no seller listings, so a Costa Rica seller run ends with a message saying so and costs nothing. Profile rows come from brand stores and shops. Argentina and the nine newer countries have no store profile pages, so a store URL there returns the store's listings without the profile row and without sellerId; use the seller's ID or listings URL when you need it.
• Product pages in the Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay and El Salvador have no reviews on MercadoLibre today. A reviews run on them ends with a "No reviews" message and no charge, and picks up reviews as soon as they appear.
• The most reviewed products cannot be read in full. MercadoLibre stops every review list after a few hundred entries; the actor combines many lists, but products with thousands of reviews return part of them.
• Buyer Q&A caps at 20 questions per product, which is what the product page itself surfaces, not the full history.
• Product mode returns the top 5 reviews inline. For the deep review set, use reviews mode.
• A catalog URL (/p/) shows the offer MercadoLibre puts first right now, so its seller, price and itemId can change between runs. Use an item URL to follow one seller's listing.
• Public pages only. No buyer names beyond what MercadoLibre publishes, no order history. MercadoLibre does not publish sellers' addresses, phone numbers or emails, so seller rows never include them.

Does this scraper work for Mercado Livre Brasil?

Yes. Pick BR as the country and the actor returns BRL prices and Portuguese content. Brazil is fully supported in all four modes.

Do I need to log in or provide cookies?

No. Paste a URL or a keyword and run. There is nothing to configure, no account on MercadoLibre, and no proxy setup.

How do I find a seller's ID?

How many results can one search return?

Up to 2,000 per keyword or search URL. Set maxItems to the number you want, or 0 for everything up to that limit. You pay for the rows delivered, plus a $0.005 fee per search run.

Can I scrape products by keyword instead of URL?

What happens when a product or seller URL is not found?

Nothing is charged for it, and the run's status message lists which inputs were not found, so a typo or a dead listing in a large batch never costs you money and never fails the run. If MercadoLibre blocks a page instead, the message says so and suggests running again; a run that returns nothing because of a block is marked failed, so you can spot it and retry.

In search mode, if none of your Start URLs can be read, the run stops with a message and charges nothing. The search keyword is only used when no Start URLs are given.
