How it works

The scraper hits api.os.fressnapf.com -- Fressnapf's public REST API powered by SAP Commerce. It paginates through results in batches of 50. Category URLs are converted to search terms automatically.

Cost

API-only, no rendering. About $0.15 per 1,000 products.

Notes

  • Prices include the per-unit price (e.g., EUR/kg) which is useful for comparing value across pack sizes
  • The API returns variant-level ratings (totalAvgRating) which aggregate across all sizes of a product
  • Category URL parsing extracts the last path segment and uses it as a search query. For best results, use searchQuery directly.
