Gintarinė Pharmacy Scraper (Lithuania)
Extract pharmacy product data from gintarine.lt, one of Lithuania's largest pharmacy chains, with hundreds of stores nationwide and a full online catalog. Give the actor a search keyword and get back clean JSON with product names, brands, prices, SKUs, stock status, and a prescription flag.
Gintarinė sits alongside Eurovaistinė and the BENU chain as one of the major national pharmacy networks in Lithuania. This actor is a different build on a different platform (a plain nopCommerce site, not Luigi's Box or the Eurovaistinė stack), so it covers Gintarinė's own catalog and pricing specifically.
How to scrape Gintarinė data
- Enter a search query in Lithuanian, for example
vitaminas, aliejus, oribuprofenas. - Set maxResults for how many products you want back.
- Optionally turn on fetchProductDetails if you also need the EAN/GTIN barcode and an accurate in-stock flag — this visits each product's detail page and roughly doubles the number of requests.
- Run the actor. Results land in the dataset as one JSON object per product, in the order the site returns them (its own relevance ranking).
If you leave the search query empty, the actor falls back to a broad default keyword (vitaminas) so a run always returns data.
Why use this actor
- Price monitoring: track OTC medicine, supplement, and personal-care prices at one of Lithuania's largest pharmacy chains.
- Prescription flag included: every result is marked
prescriptionRequired: trueorfalse, read directly from the site's own "Receptinis vaistas" (prescription medicine) badge — useful for filtering out items that legally can't be delivered, or for comparing OTC assortments only. - Barcode matching: with
fetchProductDetailson, most non-prescription products expose an EAN/GTIN barcode, so you can match Gintarinė's assortment against other pharmacies or your own catalog. - Stock checks: with
fetchProductDetailson, each product carries an in-stock flag where the site states one.
No login, no cookies, and no browser automation. The actor reads the site's own server-rendered search results page, which makes runs fast and cheap.
Input
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
searchQuery | string | Product keyword in Lithuanian. Falls back to vitaminas when empty. |
maxResults | integer | Maximum products to return. Default 100, hard cap 5,000. |
fetchProductDetails | boolean | OFF by default. When ON, the actor fetches each product's detail page for the EAN/GTIN barcode and an accurate in-stock flag. Roughly doubles requests and run time. |
proxyConfiguration | object | Apify proxy settings. The default automatic pool suffices; no residential proxy is needed. |
Example input
{"searchQuery": "vitaminas","maxResults": 200,"fetchProductDetails": true}
Output
One JSON object per product:
| Field | Example | Notes |
|---|---|---|
name | "AMBIO VITAMINAS C 1000mg, 30 tablečių" | Full product name |
brand | "AMBIO" | Brand or manufacturer, null if the site doesn't list one |
price | 4.98 | Current online selling price |
currency | "EUR" | Always EUR |
ean | "4771544223502" | EAN/GTIN barcode. null unless fetchProductDetails is on |
sku | "85480" | Site-internal SKU |
category | "Aliejus" | Category name as shown on the listing card |
inStock | true | true, false, or null — null unless fetchProductDetails is on and the site states availability |
prescriptionRequired | false | true when the listing carries the "Receptinis vaistas" badge |
url | "https://www.gintarine.lt/..." | Product page |
imageUrl | "https://gintarinestorageprod.blob.core.windows.net/..." | Product image |
description | null | Truncated to 2000 characters. Only populated when fetchProductDetails is on and the site has one |
source | "gintarine.lt" | Fixed |
country | "LT" | Fixed |
scrapedAt | "2026-09-07T09:11:22.620Z" | Scrape timestamp |
Example output

Cost
Pricing is pay-per-event: a small flat fee per run start plus $0.002 per result. A 500-product run without fetchProductDetails costs about $1.00 plus a few cents of platform usage. Turning fetchProductDetails on roughly doubles the number of requests (and therefore compute usage), since it adds one product-page fetch per result, though the per-result price stays the same. Runs are HTTP-only (no browser), so compute usage stays low either way.
Note that a run's usage cost only settles after the run reports SUCCEEDED. Reading the dataset mid-run shows a cost far lower than the final one, so estimate spend from finished runs only.
Limitations
- The search page returns 24 results per page (the site clamps its own
pagesizeparameter, verified up to 500) — this is a fixed ceiling, not a bug. - There is no full-catalog browse mode; results are always scoped to a search query (or the built-in default keyword). To cover the whole catalog, run several searches across your keywords of interest.
eanandinStockarenullunlessfetchProductDetailsis turned on — the search listing itself doesn't expose them.- Prescription-only medicines (
prescriptionRequired: true) are shown with an online reference price, but Lithuanian law restricts how these can actually be dispensed — treat the price as indicative, not a guaranteed checkout price. - Data is scraped from the public website and may change without notice.

We run 700+ scrapers for European websites, and the priority is keeping every one of them working. Automated runs test this actor against the live site and verify the output is complete. When the website changes, the scraper usually gets repaired the same day, without you having to report anything. Questions and issues go straight to the people who built it, and most get an answer the same day.
Need this data on a schedule, or a custom version?
We run this scraper as a managed service for businesses: scheduled runs, deduplication, delta detection, and delivery to your inbox, Google Sheets, or API, maintenance included. We can also build a custom version with your exact fields and filters, or combine multiple sources into one feed.
