Manor Scraper
Pull product data from manor.ch, Switzerland's largest department store chain. This scraper talks directly to Manor's own product search API, so it returns clean, structured data -- brand, price, stock, category, images -- without any HTML parsing or browser rendering.
How to scrape Manor data
Give the actor a search term and it queries Manor's own storefront search API directly, paginating until it hits maxResults or runs out of matching products. There's nothing to configure beyond the search term and language -- no category URLs to hunt down, no cookies, no login.
Under the hood, manor.ch is a Next.js storefront backed by a public GraphQL API (ecom-api.manor.ch/graphql) -- the same endpoint the site itself calls to render search results and category pages. This actor calls that API directly instead of waiting on a browser to render and hydrate the page, which makes it faster and far less likely to break when Manor tweaks its frontend markup.
Manor sells in German, French and Italian across Switzerland's three main language regions. Set locale to get product titles and descriptions back in the matching language -- the same product code returns "Chaussures de handball" under fr and "Handballschuhe" under de.
If you don't provide any input, it defaults to searching for "kleid" (German for "dress") as a demo.
A note on result ordering
Manor's search ranking blends in personalized/recommended results and is not perfectly deterministic between requests -- repeating the exact same search can return a slightly different order. This actor's pagination is built around that: it deduplicates by product code and keeps paging until it hits maxResults or a run of pages stops turning up anything new, so you still get a full, duplicate-free set of results -- just don't expect byte-for-byte identical output on two runs of the same query, page 40+ can shuffle slightly.
Input
| Field | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
searchQuery | string | Search term, in the language matching locale (e.g. "kleid", "robe", "scarpe") |
locale | string | "de" (default), "fr" or "it" -- controls both the search language and the language of returned titles/descriptions |
maxResults | integer | Cap on number of products returned (default: 100, max: 5000) |
proxyConfiguration | object | Apify proxy settings. Manor's search API has no anti-bot protection, so the default Apify proxy is sufficient |

Use cases
- Price monitoring -- track Manor's price changes over time on the brands and categories you sell against, including "was" price whenever an item is discounted.
- Assortment research -- Manor stocks its own private-label lines alongside hundreds of third-party fashion, beauty and home brands (Nike, Phase Eight, Levi's, essence, LEGO and more); see what it carries and at what price points across Switzerland's three language regions.
- Multi-language catalogue comparison -- pull the same catalogue in German, French and Italian to check translation coverage or feed a multilingual product database.
- Stock and availability tracking --
inStock/stockLevelgive a live read on which items are selling through. - Market comparison -- as Switzerland's largest department store chain, Manor is a useful comparison point against other Swiss and European multi-category retailers.
Coverage
v1 covers the Swiss flagship storefront (www.manor.ch, CHF pricing) across all three official languages (German, French, Italian).
Performance and cost
The scraper hits Manor's own GraphQL search API directly -- no browser rendering, no HTML parsing -- so it's fast. A run of 100 products typically completes in a few seconds. This actor charges $0.005 per run (start fee) plus $0.002 per result -- a 100-product run costs about $0.205. Your run's usage cost only settles after the run reports SUCCEEDED -- checking cost mid-run will undercount it.
Limitations
- Keyword search only, matching Manor's own on-site search in the language you select. It does not accept direct category or product URLs.
- Manor's search ranking blends in recommendation/personalization results and isn't fully deterministic between requests -- see "A note on result ordering" above. This actor dedupes and stall-detects to still return a clean, duplicate-free set, but page order can shift slightly run to run.
- No explicit review-count-independent rating field --
ratingis only populated whenreviewCountis greater than zero, so a genuine "no reviews yet" product correctly comes backnullrather than a misleading0. originalPriceequalspricewhen an item isn't currently discounted -- there is no separate "on sale" boolean, compare the two fields yourself.- v1 targets the Swiss flagship catalogue (CHF) only.
