Amazon Reviews Scraper - Product Reviews & Ratings

Scrape the top reviews shown on an Amazon product page, with ratings, verified purchase status and pseudonymized authors. Supports 9 Amazon marketplaces (.com, .co.uk, .fr, .de, .ca, .co.jp, .com.au, .es, .it). Returns a product summary record and review records in flat JSON.

Important: which reviews are available

Amazon now shows its full review pages (/product-reviews/...) only to signed-in users. This Actor does not log in. It scrapes the top reviews embedded in the public product page (/dp/ASIN), which is typically 8-13 reviews per product, including top reviews from other countries when Amazon shows them. The Actor fetches the page with several proxy sessions and merges and deduplicates the results.

• maxReviews is an upper bound. You get at most the reviews Amazon shows publicly.
• sortBy and filterByStar are applied by the Actor to those reviews, not by Amazon to all reviews of the product.
• Products with only star ratings and no written reviews make the run fail with a clear message.
• Captcha or "sign in to see reviews" responses are retried with a new proxy session. Captchas are never solved.

Limitations

• Only the top reviews shown on the public product page are available (typically 8-13 per product). Amazon's full review pages require sign-in, which this Actor does not do.
• sortBy and filterByStar are applied to those reviews only, so a star filter can return few or no reviews.
• The product info record is free; only review records are charged.
• Products with no written reviews (star ratings only) end with status FAILED and an explanatory message. Runs also end FAILED if the product is not found or if every request is blocked within the time budget.
• totalReviews is the product's total rating count as shown by Amazon, not the number of reviews returned.
