- A run can no longer spend more time than it has. The retry ladder booked
its worst case up front, under loops with no ceiling, so a slow or wobbling
source could push the run past the platform timeout. A run killed that way
loses its own closing message entirely.
- Every request now plans against the time actually left, and a backoff that
would outlive the run is not slept.
- A run that hits its time limit now delivers everything it did read and says
so plainly, naming the searches it never reached — rather than reporting an
empty result, which is a claim it has not earned.
New "Minimum salary" input. Give it a figure in US dollars a year and only jobs
whose posted band reaches it come back. Wellfound has no salary filter of its
own, so the actor applies yours to the band it parsed, before billing: the jobs
it drops are not charged. The top of the band counts, so $120k to $180k passes a
150000 floor. Listings with no published pay, and bands in another currency or
paid by the hour, are returned rather than converted or guessed at.
The run's final status message now says how many jobs were dropped by that
floor, how the company-enrichment pass went, and, when nothing came back, which
of the possible reasons it actually was. A run that could not read a Wellfound
page no longer looks like a search with no matches.
The README now states the price (see the Pricing section) and lists every input
field in one table.
First build. Searches Wellfound by role, by location or by pasted URL, and
returns one row per job with the salary and equity bands parsed into numbers,
the full job description, and the hiring startup's headcount, stage, badges and
response speed.
Optional pass adds the company website, its industry tags, the listed benefits
and Wellfound's salary estimate, charged only for the jobs where that data was
actually found.
