TED Europa Tenders Search: CPV, Country, Deadline

What does TED Europa Tenders Search do?

It pulls public procurement notices from TED (Tenders Electronic Daily), the official EU journal for public tenders, and returns them as clean rows. Filter by keyword, CPV code, buyer country, notice type, publication window and whether the submission deadline is still open. Each record includes the title, buyer, country, deadline, CPV codes, estimated value, procedure type and a link to the notice. Filters keep runs small, and pricing is per result.

Data source

The Actor queries the public TED search API (api.ted.europa.eu/v3/notices/search), which needs no login and is updated as notices are published.

Why use it?

• Lead generation: find buyers that are tendering for what you sell, by CPV code and country.
• Monitoring: schedule a daily run for your keywords and send new notices to Slack or a sheet.
• Market research: compare estimated contract values and procedure types across countries.
• It replaces manual searching on the TED website and copying results by hand.

How to use it

1. Open the Actor and set the filters.
2. Click Start. Download results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the API.
3. Add a Schedule and an Integration (Slack, Google Sheets, webhook) to get new records automatically.

Input

Field	Description
keywords	Full text search. A notice matches if it contains any keyword. Empty means no keyword filter.
countries	Buyer countries, ISO codes with two letters (DE) or three letters (DEU).
cpvCodes	CPV codes or prefixes, for example 72 for IT services or 45 for construction.
noticeTypes	Optional TED notice types such as cn-standard, can-standard, pin-only.
publishedWithinDays	Only notices published in the last N days. Default 7.
onlyOpen	Keep only notices whose tender deadline is today or later. Default on.
maxResults	Hard stop for the run. You are billed per result, so this caps the cost.
proxyConfiguration	Apify proxy is recommended for larger runs.

Pricing

Pay per event: a small fee when a run starts, then a fixed price per result returned. You only pay for records that pass your filters. Set maxResults to cap any run.

Limitations

• Only notices published on TED are covered. Below threshold tenders that stay on national portals are not included.
• Values, deadlines and contact details appear only when the buyer filled them in. Award notices have no open deadline, so turn onlyOpen off to see them.
• Notices with several lots return one record, with the first lot deadline and all CPV codes combined.
• Titles and descriptions are not translated.

FAQ

Is this legal? The Actor reads notices that TED publishes for any visitor without a login and stores only business information published for that purpose. You are responsible for how you use the data.
