Everything Apple publishes about a podcast, in one run: listener reviews from every storefront, the episode list, and national Top Shows charts.

Why single-country podcast scrapers under-deliver (measured, not claimed)

Two things are true about Apple's public review feed, and most scrapers get both wrong:

1. Reviews live in national storefronts, and coverage varies wildly per show.

Query only Canada for Crime Junkie and you get nothing — for a show with thousands of reviews.

2. Each storefront serves 500 reviews, not 50. The feed paginates to page 10, 50 per page, with zero overlap between pages (verified by comparing review IDs; page 11 errors out). A scraper that reads page 1 leaves 90% behind.

3. The same storefront goes empty and comes back. Measured 20 minutes apart on the same day: Crime Junkie's US feed served 49 reviews, then 0, while GB and DE kept serving 50 and other shows were unaffected. Apple returns an empty feed with HTTP 200 for a given (show, storefront) pair from time to time — not a rate limit, not a bug on our side.

That is the real argument for sweeping storefronts: it is what makes the result reproducible. A single-country scraper returns 500 reviews one day and zero the next, and tells you nothing.

What you get

• Reviews: rating, title, body, author, date, helpful votes, and the storefront it came from.
• Show metadata: publisher, genre, episode count, artwork, RSS feed URL.
• Episodes (optional): title, release date, duration, description, direct audio URL — up to 200, which is Apple's cap.
• National Top Shows charts (optional), any country.

Honest limits

• 500 reviews per storefront is Apple's ceiling, not ours. Sweeping more countries is how you go deeper — and it is why this Actor exists.
• Some storefronts return zero for some shows. That is Apple, not a failure: the row simply isn't there, and the log tells you which storefronts were productive.
• Apple caps the episode list at 200 per request.

Official Apple endpoints only — iTunes Search and Lookup, the public customer-reviews RSS feed, and Apple's marketing RSS charts. No anti-bot circumvention, no proxies. An Actor built on hostile targets breaks the week its target changes; this one has no such failure mode.
