Idealo Scraper collects the products idealo.de, Germany's largest price comparison site, shows for your search terms or category URLs: product name, best price in euros, how many shops offer it, the cheapest shop and its shipping cost, user rating, test grade, category, key features and image, as clean rows you can export or call by API.

What data can you get from Idealo?

Each product is one row with these fields:

How to scrape Idealo with Idealo Scraper – Price Comparison Data

1. Open Idealo Scraper – Price Comparison Data on Apify and go to the Input tab.

How much does it cost to scrape Idealo?

Idealo Scraper – Price Comparison Data uses pay-per-event pricing: $5.00 per 1,000 products (Product). You pay only for products saved to the dataset; platform usage is included in the price. Each run also has Apify's standard start fee of a fraction of a cent.

Set Max items (and the run's maximum cost in the run options) to cap what a run can spend. The run stops when either limit is reached.

Tips

• Paste a category URL for the cleanest results: open a category on idealo.de, set filters (brand, features), and copy the address.
• A search that idealo matches to one category pages through that category, up to about 4,000 products. A broad search (e.g. a brand name) also goes through each category idealo suggests for it.
• Search in German for the best matches (e.g. kopfhörer, waschmaschine); brand and model names work as they are.
• Products found by more than one search are saved once, so overlapping searches don't cost twice.
• Schedule the Actor daily to build a price history for the products you follow.

FAQ

Is it legal to scrape Idealo?

Idealo Scraper – Price Comparison Data collects only data that Idealo shows publicly to every visitor, and it leaves out personal data such as private profiles and contact details. Our Actors are ethical and do not extract private user data. Results could still contain personal data in titles or descriptions written by uploaders. Personal data is protected by the GDPR in the European Union and by other regulations around the world. You should not scrape personal data unless you have a legitimate reason to do so. If you're unsure whether your reason is legitimate, consult your lawyers. You are responsible for how you use the data.

Can I use it through an API?

Why did I get fewer results than expected?

The run stops at Max items or at the run's maximum cost, whichever comes first. Idealo may also return fewer results for rare search terms. Duplicates across search terms are saved once. Check the run's RUN_SUMMARY record in the key-value store for the inputs that returned nothing.

What if it stops working?

Yes. bestPrice is the lowest price idealo.de shows across all shops, in euros, and bestPriceShippingEur is that offer's shipping cost.

Do I get every shop's offer?

Not in this Actor: it collects what the search and category results show, which is the best price, the cheapest shop and the number of offers. Open the product URL for the full offer list.

What does testRating mean?

It is the average grade from product tests, in German school grades: 1.0 is very good and 6.0 is poor. rating is the user rating in stars.

Does it work for other idealo countries?

It covers idealo.de (Germany). Prices and texts are those of the German site.

Not included

No personal data: user reviews, reviewer names and profiles are not collected. Shop names are businesses. Per-shop offer lists and price history charts are not included.
