Tracks what a channel just published. Give it channels or playlists and get back the latest videos with views, likes, publish date and description.
Input: channels as channel ID (UC...), @handle, channel URL or playlist URL. A @handle is resolved to its channel ID through the channel page's canonical link; if that fails the channel is skipped with a warning rather than guessed at. Optional titleKeywords, publishedWithinDays, minViews, maxItems.
Output: videoId, title, channel, channelId, author, publishedAt, updatedAt, views, likes, url, thumbnail, description, queriedAs, scrapedAt.
How it works
Reads the Atom feed YouTube itself publishes for every channel at youtube.com/feeds/videos.xml. No API key, no login, no page rendering, nothing to break when the site is redesigned.
The one limit you should know
That feed carries the 15 most recent uploads per channel. This is a monitoring tool: point it at many channels and run it on a schedule to build history over time. It is not a way to download a channel's entire back catalogue.
