Find recent insolvency announcements published by Germany's official federal and state justice portal. Filter by federal state, publication type, and date, then export normalized court, case, debtor or company, register, and optional publication-text data.

Use the Actor for:

  • credit-risk and supplier-risk monitoring;
  • legal, restructuring, and due-diligence research;
  • regional insolvency trend datasets;
  • scheduled collection of newly published announcements;
  • structured JSON, CSV, Excel, API, and automation workflows.

The Actor uses the official public search workflow at neu.insolvenzbekanntmachungen.de. It is independent and is not affiliated with German justice authorities.

Start in less than a minute

The prefilled input searches recent protective-measure announcements in Baden-Württemberg, returns at most 10 records, and skips the slower full-text step.

  1. Open Input.
  2. Keep the defaults or select another state and publication type.
  3. Click Start and export the resulting dataset.

Equivalent input:

{
"federalState": "BW",
"announcementType": "SICHMASS",
"includeDetailText": false,
"maxItems": 10,
"maxPages": 2,
"proxyConfiguration": {"useApifyProxy": true}
}

Enable includeDetailText when you need the complete announcement. Keeping it disabled makes the first run faster while preserving the identifying court, case, debtor/company, location, and register fields.

Output

Each dataset record has a stable recordId, which makes repeated scheduled exports easier to deduplicate. A representative record has this shape:

{
"source": "neu.insolvenzbekanntmachungen.de",
"recordId": "stable-record-identifier",
"publicationDate": "2026-10-16",
"caseNumber": "2 IN 123/26",
"court": "Example court",
"debtorName": "Example GmbH",
"debtorLocation": "Example city",
"registerCourt": "Example register court",
"registerType": "HRB",
"registerNumber": "123456",
"announcementType": "Protective measures",
"federalState": "Baden-Württemberg",
"detailText": null,
"sourceUrl": "https://neu.insolvenzbekanntmachungen.de/ap/suche.jsf",
"scrapedAt": "2026-10-17T10:00:00Z"
}

Records are written as soon as each result page is parsed. RUN_SUMMARY contains counts, timings, the sanitized effective input, retry information, typed errors, and isPartial.

Pricing and run sizing

The Store currently lists a $1.00 Actor start and $0.002 per result. At those rates, a successful 10-record default run costs about $1.02 in Actor events. Check the Pricing tab before running because Store pricing can change.

For recurring monitoring, start with one state, a short date window, and 10 records. Increase the limits only after confirming that the selected query returns the data you need.

proxyConfigurationApify Proxy enabledRequired integrated proxy configuration

Apify Proxy is required. The Actor rejects disabled proxy configuration and custom proxy URLs. It never logs proxy URLs or credentials.

Reliability

  • A run that cannot obtain its first valid result page fails visibly.
  • A query exceeding the source portal's 1,000-result cap fails with queryTooBroad and asks you to narrow the filters.
  • Temporary browser, portal, or proxy problems create a clean context and sticky proxy session.
  • Detail-document failures preserve the base record with detailText: null.
  • A later-page failure preserves already stored records and sets isPartial: true.
  • Repeated pages and duplicate records are detected.

Responsible use

The source can publish information about natural persons and companies. Use the Actor only for a lawful purpose, minimize retention, restrict access, and comply with the source terms and applicable data-protection law.

The portal states that result sessions expire after 60 minutes and that direct linking to search results is not permitted. Dataset records expose the official search-page URL and do not expose session-bound popup URLs.

Local development

Requirements: Python 3.12, Node.js 22, Apify CLI, and an Apify account with Proxy access.

python3.12 -m venv .venv
source .venv/bin/activate
python -m pip install --require-hashes -r requirements-dev.lock
playwright install chromium
apify login
apify run --purge

Focused checks:

python -m ruff check .
python -m pytest
python -m compileall -q src
apify validate-schema
docker build --platform linux/amd64 -t german-insolvency-announcements-scraper:local .

GitHub deployment

Pull requests run .github/workflows/ci.yml. Pushes to main validate the project, deploy the beta tag, and run a one-record cloud smoke test against the exact build. Production latest deployment requires a manual workflow run with release_latest=true and approval through the apify-production GitHub environment.

Source limitations

The portal caps broad searches at 1,000 results. Older consumer-insolvency records can require additional identifying search parameters. The Actor reports what the source returns and does not attempt to bypass those rules.
