Product Availability & Price Monitor
Give this actor public product-page URLs and receive one timestamped row per URL with the product title, current price, currency, availability, and SKU when the page publishes them.
What it reads
The actor prefers a page's public schema.org Product JSON-LD data. If it is absent, it falls back to public product price metadata and visible stock wording. source tells you which path produced the row.
Safe, polite monitoring
- Public pages only. It never logs in, clicks, adds products to carts, submits forms, or makes purchases.
- Every navigation, redirect and page subrequest passes a fail-closed admission check: public internet addresses only (private, loopback and link-local targets are refused), and the site's
robots.txtis read asWeioBot(falling back to*). If robots is unreadable or disallows the path, the URL is skipped. - Error pages and bot-challenge, CAPTCHA or interstitial pages are returned with a reason and are never charged; the actor does not try to get past them.
- It reads no more than one URL per origin per second.
Pricing
Pay per event: one product event for a successfully read public product page. A robots-denied/unreadable URL, load failure, HTTP error, or a page with no product data at all (no Product markup, price or availability) is returned with a reason and is not charged. A successful row can have a blank price or availability when the seller does not publish that field.
Output
url, finalUrl, httpStatus, title, price, currency, availability, sku, source, charged, and checkedAt. Availability uses the seller's schema value when available and is not an inventory guarantee.
