FAQ

Does it work with English keywords? Yes for romanized brand/product names (e.g. Rolex, Pokemon card). For best coverage on Japan-specific terms, search in Japanese.

What's the difference between current price and buy-now price? currentPriceYen is the live/starting bid price. buyNowPriceYen (即決価格) is the immediate purchase price, if the seller offers one — many listings are bid-only and this field will be empty.

How fresh is the data? Live. Every run queries Yahoo! Auctions in real time.

Does it handle multiple pages? Yes — it pages automatically (100 listings per request) until it reaches your Max listings limit.

Is this legal? The Actor collects only publicly visible listing data, the same information any visitor sees. It does not log in, bid, or access private data. You are responsible for complying with Yahoo! Auctions' terms and applicable laws when using the data.
