Google Vacation Rentals Scraper: Rental Prices by Date, Bedrooms & Amenities
Scrape vacation rentals from Google Hotels for any destination and any dates: apartments, villas, houses and cabins listed on Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia, HomeToGo and other sites, all in one search. For every rental you get:
- price per night and total for the stay, in any currency
- property type, how many guests it sleeps, bedrooms and bathrooms
- amenities, rating and number of reviews
- coordinates, nearby places and photos
- optionally, the price on every booking site with direct links
No API key, no login and no browser, so it runs fast and cheap.
🤖 One-click MCP for Claude Desktop, Cursor, ChatGPT
Install this rentals scraper as an MCP tool for your AI agent in one click:
mcp.apify.com/?tools=actors,docs,zet46/google-vacation-rentals-scraper
Or paste this JSON into your MCP client config:
{"mcpServers": {"apify": {"url": "https://mcp.apify.com/?tools=actors,docs,zet46/google-vacation-rentals-scraper"}}}
Then ask your agent, for example: "Find 2-bedroom beachfront villas in Bali under 200 USD a night for 10-15 January."
Use cases
- Short-term rental market research: nightly rates, supply and ratings per city or neighbourhood, by property size.
- Pricing for hosts and property managers: compare your listing with similar rentals (same bedrooms, same dates).
- Investment analysis: what 2- or 3-bedroom rentals earn in a destination at different seasons.
- Travel apps and AI agents: real rentals with prices for a user's dates.
- Price comparison: see which booking site is cheapest for the same rental.
Input
{"queries": ["Lisbon", "villas in Bali"],"checkIn": "2026-12-18","checkOut": "2026-12-21","adults": 4,"children": 2,"childrenAges": [5, 10],"rooms": 2,"currency": "USD","maxHotelsPerQuery": 50,"minBedrooms": 2,"includeProviderPrices": true}
| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
queries | A plain place name becomes "vacation rentals in ...". Free text like "cabins near Lake Tahoe" works too |
hotelNames | Bulk mode: list of rental names (one per line). Each name is resolved to its top Google Vacation Rentals match (1 row per name). Perfect for tracking a 50-100 rental portfolio in a single run. |
hotelUrls | Track specific rentals by URL (https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/entity/...). Use with or instead of queries. |
hotelIds | Same as hotelUrls but with just the opaque Google rental ID (the token after /entity/, or the googleHotelId field from a previous run). Faster/more deterministic for daily tracking of a saved ID list. |
checkIn / checkOut | Your dates. Absolute (2026-12-18) or relative (today, tomorrow, +30d, 30 days, 6 weeks, today+14). Default: 14 days from today, one night. Use relative values with Apify Scheduler so each daily run gets a fresh forward stay. |
adults, children, rooms | Party size. Google only returns rentals that fit your group |
childrenAges | Optional ages (e.g. [5, 10]); its length overrides children |
currency | USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, JPY... |
maxHotelsPerQuery | Max rentals returned per search, after filters (up to 1000) |
minBedrooms, minGuests, maxPricePerNight | Filters. Rentals that are filtered out are not charged |
includeProviderPrices | Add the price from every booking site |
onlyWithPrice | Skip rentals without a price for your dates |
sortBy | lowest_price, highest_rating or most_reviewed. Leave empty to keep Google's order. |
propertyTypes | e.g. ["villa", "apartment"]. Keeps rentals whose property type, class or name contains any of these words. Empty = keep all. |
device | desktop (default) or mobile. Mobile UA sometimes surfaces app-only Vrbo / Booking.com rates on each listing's entity page. Listing search always uses desktop. |
useResidentialFallback | true by default. When Apify datacenter proxies fail twice in a row, switch to RESIDENTIAL for the rest of the run. Each row gets proxyFallback: true when fetched via the fallback. |
Output
One item per rental. A real example from our test run (Lisbon, 3 nights in December):
{"name": "Alfama River View | Balcony | Families | Fast Wifi","isVacationRental": true,"propertyType": "Entire apartment","sleeps": 4,"bedrooms": 2,"bathrooms": 1,"pricePerNight": 130,"pricePerNightText": "$130","totalPrice": 435.93,"currency": "USD","checkIn": "2026-12-18","checkOut": "2026-12-21","nights": 3,"rating": 4.78,"reviewsCount": 274,"amenities": ["Airport shuttle","Balcony","Crib","Elevator","Heating","Ironing board"],"latitude": 38.715,"longitude": -9.124,"providers": [{"provider": "Booking.com","pricePerNight": 130.1,"pricePerNightText": "$130","totalPrice": 390.31,"sponsored": false,"bookingUrl": "https://..."},{"provider": "Expedia.com","pricePerNight": 153.88,"pricePerNightText": "$154","totalPrice": 461.62,"sponsored": false,"bookingUrl": "https://..."}],"cheapestProvider": "Booking.com","searchQuery": "Lisbon","googleHotelsUrl": "https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/entity/...","images": ["https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/..."],"markdownContent": "# Alfama River View | Balcony | Families | Fast Wifi\n4.78/5 (274 reviews)\n**$130**/night · 435.93 USD total · 2026-12-18 → 2026-12-21\n\n**Amenities:** Airport shuttle, Balcony, Crib, Elevator, Heating, Ironing board\n\n**Cheapest offers:**\n- Booking.com: $130\n- Expedia.com: $154\n\n[Open on Google Hotels](https://www.google.com/travel/hotels/entity/...)"}
Each row also carries a markdownContent summary (LLM-ready: name, type, rating, prices, amenities, cheapest offers, link), a proxyFallback boolean (true when fetched via the residential fallback), and, when Google provides review topics, a ratingsBreakdown object (cleanliness, location, service, value, rooms, sleep, food → positiveShare + counts). The run writes a RUN_INFO record to the default key-value store with the finished timestamp, item count, dates, currency, proxy groups + country, device, whether residential fallback activated, pax and the sort/filter you used — useful for audit logs or diffing two runs.
In our test run (Lisbon and Bali, 3 nights, 2+ bedrooms), 30 rentals came back in well under a minute. Their prices came from Bluepillow, Booking.com, Expedia, Vrbo, HomeToGo, Casamundo, Agoda and hosts' own websites.
Pricing
$2.00 per 1,000 rentals ($0.002 per rental), with no monthly fee. Prices per booking site add $2.00 per 1,000 rentals, only when you turn them on. You never pay for rentals removed by your filters.

Use it from Python, JavaScript or any HTTP client
from apify_client import ApifyClient # pip install "apify-client>=3"client = ApifyClient("<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN>")run = client.actor("zet46/google-vacation-rentals-scraper").call(run_input={"queries": ["Lisbon"], "minBedrooms": 2, "checkIn": "2026-12-18", "checkOut": "2026-12-21"})for item in client.dataset(run.default_dataset_id).iterate_items():print(item["name"], item["bedrooms"], item["pricePerNight"], item["cheapestProvider"])
The same works with the JavaScript client (apify-client on npm) or a single HTTP call to https://api.apify.com/v2/acts/zet46~google-vacation-rentals-scraper/run-sync-get-dataset-items?token=<YOUR_APIFY_TOKEN> with the input as the JSON body. You can also schedule runs and send results to Google Sheets, Slack, Zapier, Make or n8n.

Then just ask, for example: "Find 2-bedroom apartments in Lisbon for 18-21 December under 200 USD a night"
FAQ
Does it include Airbnb? It returns the vacation rentals Google Hotels shows. Those come from partners such as Vrbo, Booking.com, Expedia and HomeToGo. Airbnb listings appear only if Google shows them for your search.
How many rentals can I get? Big destinations have thousands; one Lisbon search reported about 14,889 rentals. Use several area searches, for example "vacation rentals in Alfama, Lisbon", to cover a city more completely.
Do I need proxies? No setup needed. The actor uses Apify Proxy (datacenter) by default, which gives more complete results than direct requests, and the cost is included in the price.
Is it legal? The actor reads publicly visible listings and prices, with no personal data. You are responsible for using the data in line with the laws and terms that apply to you.
Problem or feature request? Open an issue on the Issues tab. Fixes usually ship within a day.
