What does UK Find a Tender Scraper do?
It collects UK public sector tenders, contract awards and pipeline notices from Find a Tender, the official UK government service for high-value public contracts. It uses the official open data API, so results are fast and reliable, and no login or proxy is needed.
Use it to:
- get a daily or weekly list of new government contract opportunities that match your business
- track who won which contract and for how much (competitor and market research)
- see upcoming procurements early (planning and market engagement notices)
- feed tenders into Google Sheets, Excel, a CRM, Slack or email alerts through the Apify API, integrations or a schedule

How to use it
- Enter keywords (for example
software, cleaning,IT). A keyword in capitals such asITis matched case-sensitively, so it does not match the word "it". - Pick notice types: new tenders (default), tender updates, pipeline notices, contract awards or cancellations.
- Set the period with Days back (default 7) or exact dates.
- Optional filters: CPV codes (prefix, for example
72for IT services,45for construction), regions (ITL codes, for exampleUKILondon,UKMScotland), minimum / maximum value, only open tenders. - Run it, or schedule it daily to get only fresh notices.
Example input
{"keywords": ["software", "IT", "digital"],"noticeTypes": ["tender"],"daysBack": 7,"regions": ["UKI"],"minValue": 50000}
How much does it cost?
You pay only for the results you get, per result saved to the dataset. A week of new UK tenders that match a typical keyword set is usually a few dozen to a few hundred results, so most runs cost cents. Set Max results to cap the cost of a run.
Tips
- A week of notices takes about 10-30 seconds. Long periods (for example 90 days) read tens of thousands of notices and can take several minutes, because the government API limits request speed and the Actor waits when asked.
- For alerts, schedule a daily run with Days back = 1.
- Notice types "tender" and "planning" cover new opportunities. Use "award" to see winners and contract values.
