Get posts from the last 24 hours
Closed
Hi Alexey
Is it possible to have an option for
Newer than (optional)
to set this for last hours instead of picking a date. so posts within last 12 or 24 hours etc
We have this set up as a daily task and picking the date would not be an option. If this is possible we would also be changing it daily to twice or three times a day.
Many thanks
Scott
Hi!
Its possible by two other json input values:
{ "onlyPostsForLastTimeUnit": "hours", "onlyPostsForLastValue": 730, "directUrls": [ "https://www.instagram.com/rayongresort/" ], "resultsType": "posts" }
Then during the run date generated and applied: INFO Relative onlyPostsForLast 730 hours converted to 2024-02-10T19:30:22.985Z
Sample run https://console.apify.com/view/runs/U8AedWNKqHXboFDll
I´m going to close the issue now, but if there would be anything else we could help with, please create a new issue.

Hi Alexey
We have 8 saved tasks which run on a schedule every day and we are hoping to add lots more over the coming weeks.
I was hoping you could add an option / a new field under "Newer than" to enter in the hours.
I am not sure how I would add in the json you supplied if we have many instagram urls under each task. This would get very messy and time consuming as I would need to update each json every time the task was updated with a new or removed instagram url right ?
Kind Regards
Scott

We've discussed it within the team and the JSON input makes the most sense for us, and won't be adding it to the regular input schema, unfortunately. We're sorry you find it inconvenient, it might be useful to create a template of it and just adjust that? We do appreciate your feedback, please let us know if we can do more for you in any other way.

Hi Alexy
This is really disappointing. When you say "JSON input makes the most sense for us" this is certainly not the case from a users perspective. I have 10 saved tasks, and was hoping to create many more over the next few weeks, but if you cannot do this, then we may have to look elsewhere. As you can appreciate, having a dozen or more templates which we need to update is really not feasible for us to do. This would create a huge amount of overhead and get very messy. I appreciate you might not be able to add this feature immediately, but if you can add it in the next fee weeks then we can live with this for the time being.
Hi Scott, I've recorded a short video explaining how you can work with the actor JSON input. https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/25922225?key=9986d0630d0cee840f750af49a26d1a7
I hope this answers all your questions, but if not feel free to follow up with us.
