Can we make so i can change the rate limit? FOr some indexes it uses more than other, dont know why.

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with the Pinecone database.
A couple of weeks ago, I reached out for help on the Pinecone forum and also raised a ticket with support, but unfortunately, there’s been no response or progress from their side.
In the meantime, I’ve increased the exponential backoff from 5 minutes to 15 minutes. Hopefully, this adjustment will help resolve most of the issues.
The latest build (0.0.55) includes these changes. You can check the full Changelog.

Hi, I hope the recent changes have been helpful a bit.
Unfortunately, it seems that Pinecone support will not be able to assist effectively.
I initially raised the issue on 2024-11-14, and since then, the process has been slow and back-and-forth. They keep requesting more details, asking for reproduction steps, and sharing code, with each interaction taking 2–3 weeks.
I'll go ahead and close this issue for now. If the discussion with Pinecone support makes progress, I'll revisit this. Jiri
