Domain Email & SaaS Detector

Give it a list of company domains. Get back who runs their email and which SaaS tools have verified or are authorised on the domain, read only from public DNS.

Good for

  • Lead enrichment: segment a list by Google Workspace vs Microsoft 365, or find companies on HubSpot, Salesforce or Zendesk
  • Deliverability checks: see missing SPF, missing DMARC and DMARC policy (none, quarantine, reject) across many domains
  • Competitive research: count which tools appear across a market

What you get per domain

email_provider, email_gateway (Proofpoint, Mimecast and so on), dns_host, saas_tools, has_spf, has_dmarc, dmarc_policy, mx_hosts, ns_hosts, spf_includes

How it works and its limits

It queries MX, TXT, _dmarc TXT and NS records. It does not fetch websites, so nothing can block it and it stays fast and cheap.

  • It finds evidence, not a full stack. A company can use a tool without leaving a DNS record, so absence proves nothing
  • A record can be stale. A verification TXT may remain after a company stops using a tool
  • The list of recognised services is fixed in the code. Unknown SPF includes still appear in spf_includes

Pricing

  • $0.0005 per domain (about $0.50 for 1,000 domains), plus a very small Actor start fee
  • Invalid and not-found domains are charged like any other checked domain. Duplicates in the input are removed first and not charged

Input example

{ "domains": ["shopify.com", "https://www.notion.so/product", "someone@stripe.com"] }

Output example

{ "domain": "stripe.com", "status": "ok", "email_provider": "Google Workspace", "email_gateway": null, "dns_host": "Amazon Route 53", "saas_tools": ["Atlassian", "DocuSign", "Google Search Console", "Stripe"], "has_spf": true, "has_dmarc": true, "dmarc_policy": "reject" }

This example is shortened from a real lookup on 2026-10-31. Values change as companies change their records.
