Trustpilot Business Reviews Scraper

Scrape any company's public Trustpilot page and get both the business summary and the individual reviews — structured, clean JSON, ready for a spreadsheet or a dashboard.

What you get

For each company the actor emits one business record:

  • trust_score — the overall TrustScore (e.g. 4.5)
  • total_reviews — total number of reviews
  • star_distribution — how many reviews at each rating: { "5": n, "4": n, "3": n, "2": n, "1": n }
  • business_name, business_domain, stars, website, category

…followed by one review record per review:

  • author, author_country, author_reviews_count
  • rating (1-5), title, text, language
  • experienced_at, published_at, updated_at
  • company_reply, company_reply_at — the business's public reply, when it exists
  • verified, likes, review_url

Input

{
"companyDomains": ["amazon.com", "booking.com"],
"locale": "www",
"stars": [],
"maxReviews": 200
}
  • companyDomains (required) — company domains as they appear on Trustpilot, or full Trustpilot review URLs.
  • locale — which Trustpilot locale site to read (global, uk, br, de, fr, …).
  • stars — keep only these ratings, e.g. [1, 2] for negative reviews. Empty = all.
  • maxReviews — cap per company; the actor paginates ?page=N until it is reached.

How it works

Trustpilot now returns a 403 / anti-bot page to datacenter IPs, so this actor drives a real headless browser (Playwright) behind an Apify residential proxy. It reads the company's data straight from the #__NEXT_DATA__ JSON that Trustpilot server-renders into the page — the most reliable source — and paginates with ?page=N. If a page stays blocked after retries (a fresh proxy session each time), the actor emits an honest error record rather than inventing data.
