Scrape BilletReduc, one of France's main discount ticketing sites, for shows, tickets and events: title, venue, city, dates, price range, category and rating, ready for aggregators, alerts and local listings.

What you can do with it

  • Build an events aggregator: pull current theatre, comedy and live show listings across France into your own site or app.
  • Monitor prices: track the discounted price range BilletReduc shows for a given run of shows.
  • Find what's on in a city: export every listed event with its venue, address and city for a local "what's on" page.
  • Bulk export the catalog: run with a high maxItems (and startPage on later runs) to build a dataset of the whole current listing.

Input

FieldWhat it does
Maximum number of eventsThe run stops once this many events are saved.
Start sitemap shardBilletReduc splits its event sitemap into numbered shards. Set this above 1 on a later run to continue a bulk export instead of re-scraping the same events.

Output

One record per event:

Good to know

  • Events come from BilletReduc's own sitemap, in the order the site lists them, not sorted by date or popularity: there is no keyword or city search on the site to filter by.
  • performers and directors list the artists billed for the show, taken from the page's own public artist credits; reviews and reviewer names are never collected.
  • priceMin and priceMax are empty when BilletReduc shows no price for an event (for example when it is sold out).
  • ratingValue and ratingCount are empty for events with no public rating yet.
  • city is empty for the rare venue BilletReduc has not geocoded; street and postalCode are still filled in that case.
  • No browser and no proxy needed: runs are fast and cheap.
  • The dataset contains show and venue information only. No personal data about customers or reviewers is collected.

Why this one

  • Discount ticketing data. BilletReduc is a discount ticketing site, so each show carries a price range in priceMin and priceMax.
  • Ready for a calendar. venueName, city, startDate and endDate are separate fields.

Pricing

Pay per result: $2.00 per 1,000 events, plus $0.00005 per run start. For example, 100 events cost about $0.20. You only pay for the events you receive, and platform usage is included in that price.

Run it from your code

JavaScript:

import { ApifyClient } from 'apify-client';
const client = new ApifyClient({ token: process.env.APIFY_TOKEN });
const run = await client.actor('bibian/billetreduc-events-scraper').call({
maxItems: 50,
});
const { items } = await client.dataset(run.defaultDatasetId).listItems();

Python:

from apify_client import ApifyClient
client = ApifyClient(token="<APIFY_TOKEN>")
run = client.actor("bibian/billetreduc-events-scraper").call(run_input={
"maxItems": 50
})
items = client.dataset(run["defaultDatasetId"]).list_items().items

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account, cookies or a proxy for BilletReduc? No. The actor reads publicly visible pages only.

How do I keep an event calendar up to date? Schedule a daily run with Apify Schedules, deduplicate on the id field and use startDate and endDate to drop past events.

Which formats can I export? JSON, CSV, Excel, XML, HTML table or RSS, from the dataset page or through the API.

Can I connect it to Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Sheets? Yes, through Apify integrations and webhooks.

Is it legal to scrape? The actor collects publicly visible event listings and respects the robots.txt rules of the site. How you use the data is your responsibility: check the site's terms and the laws that apply to you, for example the GDPR.

Something does not work? Open an issue in the Issues tab. Every public actor is test-run daily and the broken ones are repaired.

Did this save you time? A short review on the Store page helps other people find the actor, and tells me what to improve next.
