Why this one
- Structured salary, not buried in free text.
salary.minValue/maxValue/unitText/currencyare numbers whenever the posting discloses a wage. - NOC code on every posting, useful for occupation-level analysis without an extra lookup.
- No browser, no proxy, no API key. Job Bank's posting pages are plain server-rendered HTML.
Good to know
originalTitleis only set for postings mirrored from a third-party board (for example Talent.com): Job Bank shows its own NOC-normalized title plus the recruiter's original wording. Most postings, filed directly by the employer, have none, so this field is empty on the majority of results.- Many postings do not disclose a salary;
salaryisnullwhen that is the case, nothing is guessed. employerUrlis only set when the employer linked their own website on the posting.- The dataset contains job postings only. Any named contact's e-mail or phone number found in a posting's text is dropped from
description. - This is an unofficial tool, not affiliated with the Government of Canada or Job Bank. Check the site's terms and the data protection rules that apply to your use.
