Capture clean, ready-state website screenshots for QA, SEO, content, and website maintenance workflows.
What it does
- Captures up to 100 public URLs per run as PNG files.
- Uses a basic ready-state check so pages are not captured while they only show a loading message.
- Hides common cookie and consent overlays before capture.
- Supports optional CSS selectors for site-specific overlays.
- Returns one clear Dataset row per URL and stores each PNG in the run's Key-Value Store.
- Failed pages return an error row instead of silently producing an unusable image.
Typical use cases
- SEO agencies building page inventories and audit evidence.
- Website maintenance teams checking key pages after a release.
- Content and QA workflows that need repeatable, readable page snapshots.
Input
Provide a list of public URLs. The defaults capture a full page, wait for a basic ready state, and hide common cookie/consent banners. You can adjust the timeout, viewport, full-page capture, and extra CSS selectors in the input form.
Output
The Dataset contains url, finalUrl, title, httpStatus, durationMs, screenshotKey, status, and error where applicable. Open the run's OUTPUT record for the compact summary. PNG files are saved as screenshot-001.png, screenshot-002.png, and so on.
Limits
This is an HTTP/browser capture utility for public pages. It does not include login sessions, proxy rotation, crawling, PDF/video output, visual diffing, or guarantees for pages that require user interaction.
Pricing note
Use pay-per-successful-screenshot pricing if you monetize this Actor. Failed captures are not successful screenshots.
