Get WeChat Official Account articles (公众号文章) from search queries or Sogou WeChat search links: title, Official Account name, publish date, summary, cover image and a working mp.weixin.qq.com link for every article. No browser, no login, you pay only for the articles you get.

Why this Actor

• Reliable, measured on the cloud: 16 runs out of 16 succeeded in our tests (October 15, 2026; three inputs, each run 5+ times), 1,334 articles, no duplicates.
• Real article links: Sogou result links stop working outside the search session (they open Sogou's anti-bot page). This Actor opens each one in the same session and gives you the mp.weixin.qq.com address of the article (articleUrl): 1,334 of 1,334 articles had it in our tests, and the links opened the article.
• Every field on every row: title, account, date, link, cover image and id on 100% of the articles in our tests; summary on 99% (Sogou shows none for a few articles).
• Fast and cheap: 30 articles in about 15 seconds; two queries read to the end (about 180 articles) in 1.5-5 minutes (Sogou is read slowly on purpose, so it does not block the run).
• You pay only for articles. Searches with no results, wrong links and pages Sogou refuses are free status rows. Duplicates are removed.

How to use

1. Write one or more search queries (Chinese or English), or paste Sogou WeChat search links (https://weixin.sogou.com/weixin?type=2&query=...; reading starts from the page in the link).
2. Set Max articles per search or URL (default 50; Sogou shows up to 100 per query) and, if you want, Max articles in total.
3. Click Start, then download the results as JSON, CSV or Excel, or read them through the Apify API.

articleUrl is the link WeChat signs for the article: it opens the article directly, but WeChat keeps it valid only for a limited time, so open or store the article soon after the run. sogouUrl is the Sogou result link (it works only inside a Sogou search session).

FAQ

Do I need a proxy or a WeChat or Sogou account? No. The Actor connects directly and switches to Apify Proxy by itself only when Sogou blocks it.

How many results can I get? Up to 100 articles per search query: without login Sogou shows 10 pages of 10 articles. For more, split a topic into several narrower queries (for example brand + product, brand + city).

Can I search WeChat Official Accounts or read full article text? Not in this Actor: it returns the search results (title, summary, account, date, cover, link). Open articleUrl for the full text.

Can I schedule it? Yes: save your input as a task and schedule it daily or weekly, then join on id to keep only new articles.

Is it legal? The Actor reads only public search pages, without login, and returns articles published by Official Accounts (public media and organizations), not personal profiles. Check Sogou's and WeChat's terms for your use case.
