Collect title and people search results from IMDb, or look up movie and series details. Run one keyword or title ID, or submit a list.
Features
| Process | What you get |
|---|---|
| Search | Matching titles or people with available IDs, names, images, cast and release years |
| Title details | Ratings, vote counts, plot, runtime, genres, directors, countries and languages |
| Additional title fields | Available budgets, certificates, Metascores, keywords, reviews, awards and video links |
| Series details | Available episode totals and season numbers |
Search uses IMDb's suggestion index and typically returns up to eight matches per keyword. Additional fields depend on the title.
Search
{"process": "ls","keywords": ["Inception", "Dune"],"search": "titles","maxResults": 1000}
Use keyword for a single search or keywords for a list. Set search to all, titles, or names. Search uses IMDb's suggestion index, which typically returns up to eight relevant matches per keyword.
Title details
{"process": "gt","ids": ["tt1375666", "https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0944947/"],"maxResults": 1000,"proxy": { "useApifyProxy": false }}
Use id for one title or ids for a list of title IDs or IMDb URLs. Duplicate titles are returned once. maxResults limits unique results across the run. Optional delay adds seconds between requests. Direct requests are supported; Apify and custom proxies are available through proxy.
Fields depend on what IMDb provides. Missing values remain null or empty. Video playback links may expire.
Support
When reporting an issue, include the run URL and affected keyword or title ID. For blocked requests, try another proxy.
Pricing
Each valid pay-per-event run with at least one input includes a shared minimum charge of 100 title units. Results above 100 are charged individually at the Pricing tab rate, plus the listed $0.01 start fee. The minimum also applies when fewer titles are returned, no matches are found. Clearly marked placeholder rows contain no scraped titles; filter them out when exporting. Each separate run has its own minimum, including scheduled or API runs. Platform usage is included. Set a maximum run budget of at least $0.07.
Unsuccessful lookups
Where listed in the Pricing tab, a handled lookup problem that prevents a run from returning any real results produces one clear error record and a single $0.02 unsuccessful-lookup fee, in addition to any listed start fee.
