Google Play Reviews Scraper - App Feedback Export
Extract public Google Play reviews for one Android app or a batch of apps. Export review text, star ratings, timestamps, helpful votes, app versions, and developer replies as flat JSON or CSV-ready records. No Google API key is required.
What data can I extract?
- App package ID and unique review ID
- Reviewer display name and public image URL
- Full review text and one-to-five star score
- Helpful-vote count and review timestamp
- Review/app version fields
- Developer reply and reply timestamp
- Language and country context used for extraction
Input example
{"app_ids": ["com.spotify.music","com.google.android.youtube"],"max_items": 50,"sort": "newest","language": "en","country": "us"}
max_items applies per app. You can also use app_id for a single package ID or full Google Play URL and filter to a score from 1 through 5.
Output example
{"app_id": "com.spotify.music","review_id": "gp:AOqp...","user_name": "Alex","user_image": "https://play-lh.googleusercontent.com/...","text": "Useful app and easy to navigate.","score": 5,"thumbs_up": 42,"review_version": "8.9.10","app_version": "8.9.12","reviewed_at": "2026-09-09T14:30:00","developer_reply": "Thanks for your feedback.","developer_replied_at": "2026-09-10T08:15:00","language": "en","country": "us"}
Common use cases
- Monitor product sentiment and newly reported defects
- Compare reviews across competing Android apps
- Collect low-star feedback for support or product teams
- Analyze developer-response coverage and response time
- Give AI agents bounded app-feedback datasets for summarization
Use with AI agents and MCP
Example agent intent:
Collect the 100 newest one-star reviews for Spotify in the US English store, including review text, version, timestamp, and developer reply.
{"app_id": "com.spotify.music","max_items": 100,"sort": "newest","score": 1,"language": "en","country": "us"}
Pricing and cost control
The suggested launch price is $0.002 per result. Output charges are approximately $0.20 for 100 reviews or $2.00 for 1,000, plus any platform charges displayed by Apify. For batches, multiply max_items by the number of apps to calculate the maximum possible output. The live Store pricing is authoritative.
Reliability
The Actor uses a stable endpoint client with retries, continuation-token pagination, review-ID deduplication, per-app failure isolation, and a hard failure when every requested app fails. This is endpoint-contract monitoring rather than DOM selector healing.
Limitations and responsible use
- Public Google Play reviews only.
- Availability can differ by language and country.
- Deleted, moderated, or region-restricted reviews cannot be returned.
- Upstream fields may be absent for some reviews.
- Use public review data in accordance with applicable law and platform terms.
