JobPosting Consistency Preflight

Before publishing or refreshing job listings, flag reproducible JobPosting structured-data and live-page consistency signals.

What it checks

• Public job detail page reachability
• JSON-LD JobPosting presence
• Google-documented required properties: title, datePosted, description, hiringOrganization, and jobLocation
• 100% remote branch: jobLocationType: TELECOMMUTE plus applicantLocationRequirements
• Recommended fields such as validThrough, employmentType, baseSalary, identifier, and directApply
• Expired validThrough, invalid dates, stale datePosted, and validThrough < datePosted
• Structured title/location versus visible page signals
• Basic apply-link presence and reachability
• Reproducibility-focused Evidence Pack with redacted public URL query strings

Inputs

Provide one or more of:

• jobUrls: public job detail page URLs
• sitemapUrl: a public sitemap containing job detail pages
• feedCsvUrl: a public CSV with a job URL column such as jobUrl, url, link, or job_url

Optional:

• sampleLimit: 1 to 200, default 25

Output

The Actor writes:

• REPORT.json
• REPORT.html
• REPORT.md
• Dataset rows for each finding

Each finding includes severity, confidence, source URL, evidence, recommendation, and references where applicable.

Billing note

Pay-per-event billing is based on reachable job pages only. Unreachable pages are reported as findings, but they are not counted as checked job pages.

Boundaries

The Actor uses public job URLs only. It does not collect applicant data, log into sites, judge employment-law compliance, decide whether a role should be posted, or reproduce any platform review decision.
