Include device_id for the videos being scrapped, we conduct auditing on tiktoks submtited under our hashtags and would like to know if tiktoks for multiple profiles are being sent from the same device

Hi, thanks for opening this issue!
Just to clarify - you want to include the used device_id
for our scraping requests to TikTok? Or do you want to get the device_id
s of the original authors on TikTok? We are not aware of any way to get the latter.
Thanks!

Any of the 2 would be great. If you can do the first that should suffice our current needs

Hi! We can easily add our deviceId, but could you explain the second option? Where exactly did you see device_id when looking at the post you've linked? Because we literally generate a random device id before scraping, so I doubt it would really be useful to you - as you've mentioned you'd like to use it to determine if the one who posted it is the same person, so it won't have anything to do with our device_id
