I there, the scraper is working well. Is there any way to speed up the scraper?
Hello!
We are always looking for new ways to make our scraper more efficient! For this scraper there is room for improvement but, on the other side, scraping a website is a somewhat tricky problem where retrying and waiting is part of the problem (and sometimes the solution!).
I would say that while we are working on a more efficient way to perform our runs, what you can do is to avoid big runs in favor of smaller, parallel runs. That way you can speed up your process (and the cost for this would be just paying some Actor start event which cost a faction of a cent!)
I'll close this issue to avoid cluttering but we really appreciate the feedback. Feel free to ask more question if you need to!
thanks for the quick reply. Do you thin it would help to set the retryCount to 1. Would it be possible, that I could adjust this in the settings?
or maybe the timeout to 15 seconds ?
As I said, we are in the process of evaluating some enhancement. We don't want to risk compromising the stability of the results without a thorough check. Stay tuned and maybe in the future we'll have news on this matter! :)
