Hello, I couldn't find the limitations of the scraper in the documentation, and I can't understand how many videos it is able to collect. For example, for the hashtag searched in this run, TikTok explicitly states that there are more than 15,000 videos, but it only collected 130. Is this a trial limitation? Are there any limitations in the paid version as well? Thanks.
Hi, thanks for opening this issue!
Yes, unfortunately, that is a limitation of the scraper. Even though there might be more videos on TikTok, scraping them is really hard as they intentionally cutoff the feed for us after just a few results. We are able to get marginally more than that hard-set limit, but only to some degree. Typically around 100-300 videos depending on the hashtag's popularity.
